Blue Lies

I have been trying to figure out for a long time why Trump supporters seem to believe virtually anything that Trump says, even when a statement proves to be an out and out lie. I am also confused why his level of support not only remains the same, but actually goes up for a short time after he fires out a real whopper. It is that Trump is utilizing a form of "group think" as used by media to actually reinforce his supporter's bonds?  is an excellent read on this, and pretty much answered my question. I suggest everyone on either "side" read it.

Addressing Torture in Our Own Backyard

On August 9, 2014, 18-year-old Mike Brown was fatally shot by Officer Darren Wilson in Ferguson, Missouri. Officer Wilson received no legal repercussions for killing an unarmed African-American teenager. In the aftermath, police officers used excessive force on peaceful protestors who were demanding…

Allow Illegals to Vote (with a Caveat)

The Democratic led U.S. House of Representatives recently passed a bill to defend and encourage aliens (illegal and otherwise) when voting in local elections. (March 2019) I’m not sure what that means.  Just six months ago the GOP passed a bill that discouraged such voting.   The Dem…

President Trump Tackles College Censorship

Going to college is tough for any teenager. But for conservatives, it can be downright dangerous. These days, parents are sending their kids off to six-figure war zones, where even moderate speakers need armies of protection, if they're allowed to speak at all. Christians brave enough to talk about …

While the world united in an frenzy of outrage (whipped up by mainstream media) at the killing of 50 (and counting) Muslim worshippers in a Mosque in New Zealand this week there was not a whisper about a far bigger numerically at least, massacre of Christians by Muslims in Nigeria. The…

Mew-ler Done

Let's hope in more ways than one.   About all we know for certain at this point is there are no new indictments.   That should mean that Trump has been vindicated.   If this is true, what should happen with all the MSM talking-heads who've been lying about Trump for the last 2+ years,…

Why Darwinism Fails

Darwinists assert that humans and chimps have a common ancestor. It can be proven that the probability of humans evolving from such a common ancestor, in microbiological terms, was infinitesimally low - to the point of being impossible.   Let's examine another issue that is critical for Darwini…

On the Binding Forces of Communities

This is the first essay in a new series. In which, I’ll seek to understand, and to diagnose the causes of, the ethical, political and economic ills of our times.   Some of what I say may be familiar to those who have read my earlier work. What is new here, is that I aim to put those, prev…

Are Men Evil?

Original sin, the great Christian doctrine is about the fact that we live in a rational and empirical world. The idea comes from the rational idea that we must set aside laws in some cases to meet our empirical needs. Every man does this to some extent. You may have a great job and make lots of mone…

Responsibility For Words

Anyone who thinks or advocates for violence against others who believe something different is wrong. Completely wrong, in all cases.   There is no good violence, violence for a good cause, the ends justifies the means, nothing. It's all wrong 100% of the time.   We know this. But people in…

Sharia law is not the law you need to be concerned with.   Noahide law is the Jewish law that will replace the common law of the West. It is one set of laws for Jews and another set of laws for non Jews. Noahide laws will be administered by the Sandhedrin priesthood in Israel, the Talmud…

The Dichotomy

There is a huge dichotomy in the US population. It has afflicted this nation for over 70 years, once it emerged onto the cultural stage. The birth pangs of the split were heard in the sounds of bebop jazz in the smoky clubs of the big cities after WWII. It was the antithesi…
