Could it happen?

i just read a rather interesting article, speculating about the ways and means Trump might TRULY drain the swamp.   If anyone's been following James O'Keefe and his various hidden cam vids, one knows that at least 3 State dept./DoJ employees were caught on tape confessing to how they've been deliberately opposing their Commander in Chief by either slow-walking, sabotaging, or outright refusing to carry out his orders.   According to , one DoJ employee was fired; according to , several more have been caught "obstructing and resisting," and have apparently broken several laws in the process - and these incidents point to far more widespread criminal activity on the part of deep state actors, particularly those promoting socialist agendas.   One of Trump's unfulfilled campaign promises was to "drain the swamp," and it appear…

Inalienable Rights, Right?

About a month ago, I was having an interesting discussion with two WB contributors about “inalienable rights”. If I were put their definition into this term, it seems to mean natural claims that individuals have over their societies. These rights are inalienable because they transcend al…

Trump's childish brinkmanship

This is getting to be like one of those bad sitcoms, where they divide the house down the middle with some tape. It was stupid in the 70s and it's stupid now. I totally understand Pelosi's reasoning in saying that you can't capitulate to a mentally-infirm individual such as trump because it will sim…

I seriously pray for a hard Brexit

During my adult life I have been misrepresented in Europe by Thatcher, Major, Blair, Brown, Cameron, Clegg and now May. Do I feel confident we're going to get a leader strong enough to fight the good fight any time soon? I'm sorry, I have no faith left in any of our leaders when it comes the the EU.…

Picture: Chopfab beer from Winterthur, Switzerland, where I live. Excellent beer, strong but with a fruity taste. Chopfab means "Head off" LOL   I thought of choosing a lighter subject for a change, and since I'm drinking above beer right now, I write about that, and ask you about your favorit…

Tories and Trump and the funnelling of wealth.

There is an underlying principle found in both Trump and the Tories - how to channel more wealth to the powerful and wealthy and get away with it.   They do this under the guise of tax cuts that greatly favour the wealthy as well as pay freezes for workers.    Now, these tax cuts, eve…

The reason they push religion on the masses

The human brain and construct is unfortunately something most "believers" never take into account. Beliefs for many do stay the same but does it make their beliefs anymore true or does it instead show the nature of most human beings that they never challenge their beliefs nor do they rarely go outsi…

A Word on Solzhenitsyn

Even biology tells us that a high degree of habitual well-being is not advantageous to a living organ- ism.  Alexander Solzhenitsyn       I think what Solzhenitsyn was trying to say is that in the Western Christian societies  people want the feeling of comfort and well being…

Brexiteers are most alarmed as to where the EU is…

People are confused as to what Brexiteers are and what they want. They're actually all rather different and have different motives. The popular one being that they're all racist, delusional empire fantasists(both the ignorant working class types and Eton educated toffs. No divide there) is absolute …

A Thanksgiving Offering to God

When I wrote this song in the 1990's, I was thinking about the concept of God's goodness.  With all the magnificent and majestic power God Almighty has, what if He had one little tiny bit of evil in Him?  What if He could wake up in a bad mood and decide to randomly kill some of us witho…

A Little Gun History

No one dies when Jesus is mocked

No one dies if Jesus is mocked. He might have had some humour himself, he was Jewish after all. The Value of Religion. The Significance of God
