BASED UPON THE FOLLOWING, ANY POLITICIAN ADVOCATING AND SUPPORTING THE ILLEGAL CONCEPT OF "SANCTUARY VENUES" SHOULD BE IMPEACHED FOR VIOLATING HIS OR HER OATH OF OFFICE:

I, ________________________, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of California against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of California; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties upon which I am about to enter.

The Justice Department should bring charges.

As well, any citizen or citizens' group, within jurisdiction, should have standing to sue any agency or politician having any responsibility for the illegal situation.

I suggest going after any jurisdiction within California.

One success, and all will change.

Kudos for denying federal funds, as a serious shot across the bow.

NOTES:  The discussions about criminal "unauthorized visitors" is a red herring, thereby convoluting the critical issue of "unauthorized visitors".  A nation must have secure borders.

Solving a problem begins with recognition of the problem (http://writerbeat.com/articles/3682-A-PERMANENT-SOLUTION-TO-MITIGATE).

I agree. When you take an oath it's sacred. If you violate it there should be a severe price.

And regarding illegal immigrants, I don't understand the big problem accepting the law. My parents and great grandparents immigrated to America and did so legally. Nothing wrong with immigrants, just the illegal part.
