I have arrived in Thiès at the home of my business partner. Currently it is 39° Celsius - the time between 1pm and 5pm is almost unbearable.
We have a hot desert wind here called Harmattan which causes the impression that there's no air to breathe. Means all activities happen in the morning and evening.
When I arrived in Dakar Monday I went into a guest house I stayed in 2000 last, people remembered me and I've been invited for a jam with a band which exercises there on Saturday eve :-)
We have started to discuss and prepare a schedule on how to organize the coming months concerning business.
Weekend is also beach time, we head back to Dakar for it and I'll include some pics as soon as Internet works on my Laptop. For the moment I've got only my cell.
Stay tuned and healthy :

But here in Thiès we don't have to pay rent (family home of my biz partner) and can quietly prepare for work. The beach in Dakar will be weekend fun !
Enjoy while you can soon it will be work work work!
Yep. Work until exhaustion LOL
Thanks. Mangi fi. Bachna :)
Thanks for the advices. However I don't eat salty but HOT, I drink 2 litres of water a day and that's it.
And I LOVE African time. Nothing less stressy than that :-)
Mind is cool and body is hot ...
It is LOL
I must have misunderstood an earlier article/comment of yours.
We maintain equilibrium in 35+ weather by never getting dressed, a quick shower every couple of hours and an air dry afterward.
Hard to do in an office atmosphere one supposes. Then again, you're the boss. :)
An office here's not what it is in the West ;-)
