TUBE’S SESSIONS IN SESSIONS

OK! Tubularsock will admit this right up front. Jeff Sessions reminds Tubularsock of a child molester and then again when he is with his wife …. dominatrix comes to mind!

Now, of course, that is not to say that they have anything to do with either but that is what comes to Tubularsock’s mind when he see them. And some have said that “Tubularsock has some fucked up mind” and Tubularsock won’t argue that but that is what comes to some people’s minds which puts them into the same conjecture mentality as Tubularsock.

But, besides “MARY, BEAT ME BEAT ME”, what is it having Congress create a committee to investigate much of anything when they themselves conduct compromised lives? Because as can be shown, 98% of Congressional Committees waste a huge amount of time and money and produce, well NOT EVEN GOOD TV!

In fact, why not just let the lobbyists, that write up the legislation, just do a night shift and do committee work as well. Seriously, Congress is only in session (depending on the year and the chamber) around 170 days a year. This could be a part time gig for some ambitious lobbyist. And just think how better it would all work due to the Holy Grail of the “free market system”! Outsource Congress, maybe to Russia. Shit, save a lot of time!

If there is ever ANYTHING that the public should know then they call for a closed door session because of NATIONAL SECURITY! Which means that our enemies already know, and the Congressional Committees knows, and the White House knows BUT THE PUBLIC DOESN’T! And then the citizen still really believes that the people in a democracy are the government? Clears that fantasy up, now doesn’t it!

So what really just happened:

Combine the $17,444.00 for salaries of the 16 members of the Senate Intelligence Committee for the “day” and the salary of Attorney General Jeff Sessions for the “day” to sit and talk about absolutely NOTHING of any value to anyone. That is almost $3000.00 an hour!

Now that is just the cost for the primary members of the charade. That does not cover the cost for all of the aides necessary around each member to carry their pencils. Or the cost of the space and the janitorial services necessary to clean up after these assholes!

Plus all the other perks these fuckers get to do nothing of value.

DO YOU KNOW anything more than you did before they started? Of course that is if you took the time to watch it. But why would you. It is best to wait and let the talking heads on your TV make believe that some drama had occurred. NOTHING HAPPENED! Never does.

And let’s for the fun of it say we found out that they (whoever that is) DID IT (whatever that was) would anyone be held accountable. THE ANSWER IS NO! Oh sure, maybe some janitor who happened to leak something …… he’d get life!

WHAT A DISH OF HORSE SHIT! Would you care for mustard with that?

But of course this WASN’T a Blue Ribbon Committee. Now those cost more, last longer, and cover their finding in book binding. AND THEY substantiate the fabrication of the narrative THEY want you to believe.

Take for example the Warren Commission Report or even worse the Report On 9/11 both are worthless and off track from what actually happened. BUT THEY ARE VERY COMFORTING TO KEEP THE LIE ALIVE.

Your right, its expensive and nothing was accomplished except people got to SEE Congress in action on this mess.  But if you want to watch that, you can watch CSPAN on any given day.
Right now, nothing is getting done and EVERYTHING is behind closed doors.
Tubularsock Added Jun 16, 2017 - 6:33pm
Thanks for your comment, wsucram15. "They" just keep on churning out shit and few seem to care. And the citizen acts like they are "informed" about ahhh ........... Tubularsock has calculated the amount of bull shit Congress produces in a 170 day year and has found that if they "worked" a 365 year the country could not contain it!

If sessions reminds you of a child molester, what do you think people think of you? I mean, between the hair and the leather jacket and the stupid name, I'm thinking you're into something a whole lot worse.

Again rich people playing rich people games.  Our government is more like a rerun of Dynasty.

They should stop wasting time; money; and brain cells, focus on the people's business!

S.R.Morris, thank you for your comment. Wow, “I'm thinking you're into something a whole lot worse.” Now S.R., Tubularsock’s finds little worse than a child molester but let your mind go for it and just see how kinky that mind of yours can go!
But with the hair, the leather jacket, and the stupid name Tubularsock could EVEN be a christian .......... now that IS scary!
Tubularsock Added Jun 16, 2017 - 8:29pm
George, you a correct. And it is a rerun!
Thanks for your comment.

Funny, through much experience, I've come to be leery and wary of anyone and everyone who refers to themselves in the third person.

Michael, you have very good judgment! Tubularsock thanks you for your comment. Being cautious is very wise. Don't take any wooden escudos! Cheers.

Calling your opponents child molesters based on how they look, your use of vulgar language and your hair make me want to dismiss this article as the work of child. However, I read it and you did make a good point about preferring Congress do nothing.  On one of these blogs here someone quoted a president who in his first week in office brought his cabinet together and said “well gentleman, what can we avoid doing today (or something like that).”

So we stand in agreement that a do nothing Congress and President is far better than politicians that do a lot.  On that note, if the taxpayers really wanted to save some money/aggravation, they should buy every member of Congress memberships to Augusta.  That should keep them away from Washington.

With that in mind, you should love Trump.  He’s accomplished very little by way of legislation.  His executive orders that haven’t been overturned have largely been about negating stuff Obama did.  So I couldn’t be happier with the current Congress, by both of our metrics of success, they’ve done a great job.
Ric Wells Added Jun 17, 2017 - 2:12am
I don't know but it seems the hair has a better point than the ones condemning it.

I'd better say something else or Autumn won't count this as a comment. To S.R. Morris and Michael B. Confucius say man who judge how people not know how to hear.
Tubularsock Added Jun 17, 2017 - 12:23pm
Thomas Napers, thank you for taking time to share your thoughts. Yes, sometimes vulgarity does affect people in different ways. At least, to date, Jeff doesn’t go around “grabbing pussy” so that is a point in his favor in Tubularsock’s book.

Interesting point about Augusta, Thomas but Tubularsock thought they were all hanging around there already. Buying Congress is a rich man’s game and it has worked well for years. And on that point so has buying up the two parties.

The citizens end up paying the bills and the rich put their riches off shore and then lecture how well “trickle down” is working FOR THEM.

Now, Tubularsock does love Trump because he may be the very last chance for the American citizen to WAKE UP to the fact that they are being fucked over AGAIN.

The writing is always right there on the wall for all to see and Trump is the perfect catalyst to expose the system. Not improve the system but EXPOSE it. Trump isn’t capable of reforming the system for he is driven ONLY by self-interest, just like the rest of the political establishment.

Trump is the perfect Shakespearian BUFFOON who exposes the “joke” being played out by the “set up” on the people but that is his only function.

Now Tubularsock would find it difficult to believe that you, Thomas would agree with Trump’s signing statements of weakening workers safety regulations, weakening protection on water and air quality and spending tons of hard earned citizen’s tax money on building that silly “wall”!

And the great thing is that you and vulgar Tubularsock agree that Congress isn’t doing shit! Just be careful who you hang with Thomas, didn’t your mother warn you about being influenced by your friends?
Tubularsock Added Jun 17, 2017 - 12:23pm

"National Security" = code for we STILL don't have any evidence against Russia so we have to keep this bullshit hidden from the public to pretend otherwise.

Hey but despite those facts the hypocrite ass wipe Congress did manage to punish those terrible (& guilty of even less than their government) Russian citizens "Senate Attacks Russian Civilians With Sanctions In Order To Effect Regime Change In Moscow” https://medium.com/@caityjohnstone/senate-attacks-russian-civilians-with-sanctions-in-order-to-effect-regime-change-in-moscow-9e9f51f6439f

You have to look at the bright side.  As bad as Trump is at least he’s better than Obama and Hillary.

Do you really believe Congress will vote to give themselves a pay cut or eliminate their position?  It’s pretty safe neither of those scenarios will ever happen and that’s true even if the Republican and Democratic Party imploded tomorrow.  Knowing that, what does someone with your philosophy do?

Regarding lobbyists, do you really believe Congress is fluent enough to draft laws that encompass one sixth of the economy without the input of elements of the economy it will effect?
Tubularsock Added Jun 18, 2017 - 12:04pm
Hey Bill, thank you for your thoughts. “Better Than” is this a spin off the philosophy of “lessor of the two evils”?

The way Tubularsock sees this is that we have finally reached the near bottom of the “lessor of the two evils” theory. When one is continually presented with the “lessor of the two evils” and is limited to that eventually you bottom out.

The system has been corrupted for so long that it is built into the tradition of the two party system.

Can we, a somewhat intelligent life force (and Tubularsock is being generous here for the sake of argument), really expect a closed system that is controlled by gate keepers that have only their own vested interests at heart to be open to real DEMOCRACY?

The answer is rather easy to conclude if you just look at it. You yourself eluded to it with a Congressional pay cut.

The “free press” is a controlled institution that is owned and operated by a handful of vested interests that manufacture information in order to keep the people that can read dumb down. And the visual information is ALL colorful diversion that produce the “safe” condition-response to give the watcher the virtual reality of the formulaic information being presented. If one steps back far enough the party’s over! Of course, most people don’t and that is the beauty of the control. It really is only a ramped up version of the old bread and circus technique.

So, “what does someone with your philosophy do?”
Well exactly what Tubularsock has done his entire life to date: expose the lie.

That is all Tubularsock has to offer.
That and when it all falls down, “maybe just sit there and groove on the rubble”.

The “free press” is a controlled institution that is owned and operated by a handful of vested interests that manufacture information in order to keep the people-I remember when Telecom Act of 96 proponents were countering changes in media ownership ratios and general scope of the Act, asked "Who doesn't want a free press?" Didn't take long to find out.  Remember, before the vote on that Act, only a couple of staffers actually had read the enabling bill, no electeds had.  Sound familiar?

The country is nearly $20 trillion in debt and climbing fast.  Bitching about $17,444 is colossal waste of time and effort.  Don’t mistake me, I think Congress should work for free, but you should focus on the spending that matters.  To give an idea how small your gripe is take a look at this link below and tell me how fast it takes for the country to go an additional $17,444 in debt.

Tubularsock Added Jun 18, 2017 - 11:29pm
Maureen you have no argument from Tubularsock on your observation but funny how 17 thousand here and 17 thousand there added to the mix just helps it along. Not to mention that many people can relate to 17 thousand must easier than 20 trillion.
And thanks for the clock. It's sure a fast little sucker!
Christian Peschken Added Jun 19, 2017 - 5:38pm
$17,000 + $17,000 equals just a few seconds more of spending. A trillion may be a difficult number to visualize, that should not be an excuse to focus on nothing.
George N Romey Added Jun 19, 2017 - 6:09pm
We add what like a billion plus each day to the debt.
Tubularsock Added Jun 19, 2017 - 9:00pm
Christian, Tubularsock understands your point but what you seem to fail to realize that what “nothing” is to some people is a years wages to others. For people to pay attention it has to be relatable to them. Otherwise they turn it off.

George Romey writes some very detailed, well researched material and he is well worth reading BUT many people would turn from it not because it’s not important but because they just won’t read detailed material. Or even lack the interest. They may even feel like they don’t understand economics.

But they just might connect the dots when they see $17 thousand. They may understand THAT. And they may start to understand just how fucked over they and their friends really are in earnest and burning it all down might just be the only option. That is where revolutions come from.

And when all is really said and done the monitory system is just made up in the first place. Debt doesn’t even exist except in the game being played. One minute some nation that can’t pay their debt is magically absolved of their debt by a few pen scratches. Talk about a scam.
Sure the nation’s dead carcass is ravaged by the capitalist classes but that is just part of doing business in the game.

So Christian, relax. As George says “We add what like a billion plus each day to the debt.” So why stress over the little things? What’s a few billions to 20 trillion?

Thanks for your comment and oh, can you loan Tubularsock $20. for a cup of coffee?
Christian Peschken Added Jun 21, 2017 - 7:28am
If you're of the belief debt doesn't matter, the monetary system is a scam and we're in need of some revolution, than I understand why you'd focus on a small amount of money and ignore the bigger picture. As for me, I think debt does matter, the monetary system is real and the path forward isn't a revolution, it's to cut spending. A $17k cut is not the kind of cut I'm talking about. I also understand where you're coming from based on the fact you don't believe in capitalism.
Tubularsock Added Jun 21, 2017 - 8:01pm
Christian, debt is just an agreement that can be manipulated to suit different peoples objectives at different times. There is nothing there there.

And Tubularsock is not in favor of revolution but the only way this system will change is through one. The power elite will not give up power any other way.

As for cutting spending the first major cutting HAS TO BE ending our disastrous foreign policy and stop our war footing. And this will not happen because huge profits are being made by a few.

Cut the military down by 2/3rds and that would be a huge step in the right direction for bringing down debt.

But the “game” is rigged, Christian and Tubularsock does agree with you that within the game ( that you don't believe that it is a game) debt needs to be brought down but capitalism is a ravenous beast that will even turn on itself for profit. So the happy thought for the day may be that it will all self destruct.
Cheers, and thanks for your comment.

First, I love your name Tubularsock, as well as your clever sense of humor. And you slyly referring to yourself in the third person is funny and kind of endearing, as opposed to the way Trump annoyingly does it. And I think we should all get pointy haircuts!
Sessions is a dishonest, racist, homophobic, pathetic little twerp! I swear, the hair on the back of my neck stands up every time I see or hear him. Huh. Not that I have strong feelings about him one way or the other mind you. LOL!

As far as everything else you wrote, I think you're spot on. When's the revolution?
