A Plea To My Fellow Americans.

My Recent Posts

I have been silent for awhile and allowed events to unfold. After what happened in Virginia and the death of Heather Heyer, its time to respond. I am not going to rehash what I have said in the past and prior to my last post; Events have proven me and others like myself who have been critical of Donald Trump correct. His blatant refusal to step up as a leader and denounce The Alt-right and white supremacists had revealed the kind of person Donald J. Trump is.

Last year, Former First Lady Michelle Obama said during the Presidential debate at the Democratic National Convention that the Presidency reveals character and she is 400 percent correct. I am not shocked at all. Being a native born New Yorker, Donald Trump has always behaved like this and his supporters need to stop making excuses for him. Mr. Trump is a racist, sexist, and a bully. He isn't fit to be President at all; from his respect of other leaders such as the Mayor of London and his behavior at the G-19 Summit earlier this year.

Trump has also spent money on protecting his family and himself that could be better spent on improving our nation's economy case in point, The Secret Service is nearly broke and cannot pay their agents because of the constant travel to protect the Trump family and their constant traveling. This is embarrassing! Trump hasn't even given the agency an increase in their budget to pay the agents protecting both him and his family.

It is time for Donald J. Trump to be impeached or resign; This man has treated the Presidency like his personal playground, behaves like a child, and cares more about being on Twitter and watching Fox News all day long than doing the job he was elected to do. Say what you will about Barack Obama, he didn't complain about the job and did it to the best of his ability despite what he had to face.

Anyone who supports the Alt-right and their ilk shame those who fought against the Nazis in WW 2. My father was in the 2nd World War and one of the 1st African American Air Force pilots. He had served his country with honor despite being mistreated because of his skin color at that time. Towards the end of his life, he  finally received the honor and recognition that was denied to him and others like him when they were young. There was Women Air Force Pilots in that war and how dare you be a sexist? Nazis and their ilk are super sexist.

Trump has to go. No one in his cabinet should stay not even VP Mike Pence who is just as worse than Trump and his record in Indiana proves it! Right now, America is the laughing stock of the global community and it is very embarrassing. No one trusts The White House because Trump doesn't understand what the word Classified means because he had revealed sensitive information to the Russian delegate when he visited our nation not too long ago.

This isn't a liberal or Conservative issue, an American issue. Your silence speaks volumes if you say nothing. For the good of our nation, Trump must go!

Trump did denounce the violence--ON BOTH SIDES!  It was refreshing to see the alt-left racists called out as well.  O never had the courage.

You make a huge deal about Trump, but he's not much worse than Obama and Bush. What made them bad is what makes Trump bad, not some hypothetical dream that Trump is a secret Naxi: "Trump Is Continuing And Expanding All Of Bushbama’s Worst Policies” https://medium.com/@caityjohnstone/trump-is-continuing-and-expanding-all-of-bushbamas-worst-policies-7c6b6df3c800
Speaking of Nazis, where was the outcry and outrage when the Obama regime backed the illegal coup in Ukraine in 2014 which installed Neo-Nazis into power? Those Nazis have been responsible for a hell of a lot more murder and destruction than what happened in Charlottesville.

Gregory M., Obama chose to speak and condemn groups and people before the facts were know, and his word did not stand up to them. He was lucky that the media chose not to call him on these errors and he know they would not. Trump on the other hand chose to wait for the facts to be know before he condemned groups and people because he knew that a double standard existed and he would be attacked for an error.
So Gregory what character results from being a "native born New Yorker?"  This is the territory of the democratic party with only a few time then it lost control of the city in Trump's life.  Your parroting the words of the democratic spin doctors, "Mr. Trump is a racist, sexist, and a bully." Please provide fact from his decades as a business owner of racism, sexism, and a bullying within his companies that have resulted in court judgments. Those spin doctors must have presented evidence so I call upon you to present it since you must be reading and listening to them.
Trump spending of money. Well I want to see a chart comparing Bush the younger, Obama, and Trump spending. Otherwise your still just presenting spin with no facts. Wheres the beef?
As a conservative I would say the same thing about Obama, he should have been impeached or resign. The problem Gregory is that impeachment is a political action that requires both houses of congress to agree. So your just day dreaming out loud and no one that has one ounce of intelligence would be worried. You were not worried about Obama.

Gregory, actually Obama support the antifa.  No federal action for the murders or the destruction of property and the breaking of civil rights.  I know they say they are against fascism but we know that this is a great ploy.  Obama made all kinds of promises and the opposite actually occurred for his signature legislation ACA.   Antifa is using the same ploy tactic.  We know that 'Black Lives Matters' have visited the White House, and that both they and antifa were involved in the fight with the Nazi white supremacist movement.  Further we know that the democratic mayor did not order the police to separate the demonstrators and that they actually caused them to meet. Then stood back and let them fight. Those are the facts that Trump leaned by waiting before responding.
Again you Gregory have a very warped view of this country and have displayed it for all to see.

Gregory - I'm behind you a 100% and I'm not even American. The man is a disgrace - a racist, misogynistic bigot. He is a fascist of the first order. A narcissist whose arrogance knows no limits. An uncouth lout whose rudeness is inbreed into his rich-boy, spoilt brat upbringing.

Gregory- You are so attached to Obama that you refuse to speak the truth about the Hussein Obama's epic failure as our president- Gregory please spare me the i am a racist BS.
Obama Hussein will go down in history not only as a president who failed at everything. Except Hussein Obama did great things for--------Iranian Terrorist nation- btw Hussein O, had the worst economic numbers-Hussein O, had 13 Islamic terrorist  attacks under his presidency in some states.

"He is a fascist of the first order."
How is he a fascist, much less one of the first order.  Compared to O, does he seek to control corporations more or less?  I would say less because he is deregulating. O passed EO after EO to put corporations under government control.  Trump reverses them.  O was a socialist.  Trump, a capitalist.  The Fascist label is just empty rhetoric.

Everyone on here but Opher Michael C (not the other one) and Autumn..need to shut up.
Leroy..you seemed kinda neutral maybe but I am sure you realize he was not addressing only a specific group of the anti - white racist protestors. I still disagree with his statement completely, but he was addressing a specific group.
First of all, none of the commenters can speak to what the author speaks to which is (God I hate this term) racism unless you are a minority.
Second, how many of you are from New York...he is.  I spent my summers there for years and years, hearing what a asshole this guy is because he is the local celeb and always doing crap to get into the press.   He is a criminal, was raised that way and if you knew a person like him personally that wasn't a celebrity..you would say he was a punk. I even remember some of the stories about him.  His entire career proves he is a racist and a thief.  He is a cheat, a liar and abuser of women which is pretty well known but you wont hear about it because it will settle out of court with sealed records like most of his dramas. He runs with some questionable (on the lower end of the spectrum) and serious mafia connected people (both in the US and internationally) you can imagine. Not just that but he has now graduated to international criminals that he has invested money with in Trump businesses more than once that are under investigation.  More of the same as in NYC, just on larger scale.
He has sued over these allegations and he loses every time..why do you think that is? He even sued of the valuation of himself. He lost because he over valued his assets (himself) and someone proved he was not a billionaire.
Obama is not Trumps issue, this is a false narrative to dissuade from the actual issues. (Although Obama had issues). Trump was handed a good economy and somewhat peaceful environment for a time.
Trump has no experience in politics it is why people that like him elected him and also his biggest problem.  "hes a business man"  Except he filed bankruptcy 6 times (great story behind at least 2 of those btw), and did not operate a public business it was private, the rules are different.  The US doesn't operate  like the Trump regime of operations. you would have to go to an autocratic government (much like Putin) for his methods to be even close to operational and they wont work.
Its like electing Joe the line-supervisor at the plant to be the CEO of a multi-billion dollar company with no experienced staff and expecting him to handle a corporate transition or buyout.
Gregory..I agree with you, but after Pence you have Ryan..and it gets worse as you go.  Believe it or not as offensive and dangerous as he is ( I really don't like him -please understand), our choices are maybe more stable but just as "racist" and will be able to implement things you and I haven't even dreamt of yet.  He is a federalist and of the mindset of the Christians from the 1700s.
Paul Ryan is the GOP nightmare we could survive, but maybe not.
Trump is already trying to start a war to stay in office, Pence and Ryan will do that...its the Republican way.
Get out to fightback..I was just on the phone Sunday with organization with groups like Moveon, Indivisible along with multiple Senators, there is a huge push back on this.   It just seemed pretty large. But we all need to stick together, ignore the ignorant.
Hang with Opher.. his observance skills are very good.
Thomas..Im speaking to you specifically, I know you live in Chicago.  You must live in the outskirts. Like Palos Park, Naperville perhaps Mount Greenwood?
Give this guy a break, he has a right to be offended by your "racially challenged" top cop.

Trump is still our president whether we like him or not.  He's politically inexperienced and still learning, but he needs professional help, like Newt Gingrich and Condoleezza Rice. Trump should have focused specifically on the killing of Heather by that maniac, not generalize about hate groups.

I also made a nice salad with almonds and cranberries, I didnt have any strawberries today.  I ended it with a nice Italian with shaved Parmesan dressing.

With all due respect Dolan, Trump's actions and words speak for him. Donald Trump is doing that to himself, not Clinton or Obama! And Dino, Trump is on his way out. People in his own party and The Generals are increasingly seeing him as unfit to be President. His response to the Charlottesville tragedy is an example.
Gregory S. McNeill Added Aug 22, 2017 - 8:18pm
Michael Dolan,
Obama wasn't the problem; People like you had a problem with him because of his skin color! Stop making excuses! When it comes to Race in America, listen to the late Dick Gregory who passed away at 84 and credited for paving the way for comedians like Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, and Dave Chappelle!
Here is what Mr. Gregory had said about Race in America which is still relevant today:
Dr. Rupert Green Added Aug 23, 2017 - 8:11am
The Black leaders should come out and support Colin Kaepernick instead of calling for the destruction of dead men on statues. Do they not have the stones to confront living racists?
wsucram15 Added Aug 23, 2017 - 8:51am
I have supported Colin Kaepernick both with the NFL and online. Now I watch football. It wont hurt the NFL, but it will not be watched in either of my two houses this year.
Now before anyone says a word, dont bother.  I voted for Baltimore to sign Kaepernick and I hope he comes here.  Its complicated.  But I hope he comes here...I really do. He is a good quarterback and ours has issues.
Im a Pittsburgh fan, but loved Ravens defense way back when, tough to beat.  However..even the older Ravens players support Kaepernick if he will bring something to the team.
So yeah, he stood up for his values, some people dont like it.  I dont like White Supremacists but we all live in the same world, you have to understand its a right living here to express your opinion.

Obama was nothing more than a corporate shrill.  He was perfect as a beard for the corporate and financial state.  As far as Trump.  As bad as he is there is Pence after him and Paul Ryan after that.  You can't change the constitution by a whim.  Maybe if Democrats like you would embrace and talk about real change other than Russia, Russia, Russia you might get some respect back.
Bill Kamps Added Aug 23, 2017 - 1:17pm
Gregory, while Trump is certainly a disappointment, a few things you should know.
1. The protection of the Secret Service for the President's family is prescribed by  law.  Trump or the SS cant ignore what the law requires.
2. Congress, not Trump authorizes more money for the SS, and they are talking about it.  But Congress talks a lot, and does nothing.
3. Removing the President requires a impeachment. While there is talk of that, no one think he has committed an impeachable offense.  Saying stupid things is not an impeachable offense.
Gregory S. McNeill Added Aug 23, 2017 - 2:03pm
Bill Kamps,
The Secret Service agents aren't robots, they are human beings and have to take care of their families too! The talk for Impeachment is becoming more possible because of Trump's actions. His own party is losing faith in him.
And to Dani Yoder, I am qualified as an American; I am a 10th generation American and not a Communist! I believe that if America believes in its principals, it should act like a nation that says it believes that all people are created equal!
Gregory S. McNeill Added Aug 23, 2017 - 2:06pm
Dr. Green, Black leaders are supporting Colin Kaepernick. He is getting support from not just NYPD officers including former Police Officer Frank Serpico who was the subject of a film by Sidney Lumet and portrayed by Al Pacino in the late 1970s.
opher goodwin Added Aug 23, 2017 - 3:27pm

The name of Obama's choice was none other than---------------------Al Sharpton. Sharpton went into Harlem with his racist ban of criminals to protest against a Korean family that owned a small deli in Harlem.
Al's chant was---Korean Monkeys- get out of Harlem.
Gregory--- Look up- Yankel Rosenbaum-Bronx NY-where  i grew up. Sharpton did what he does best he ignited an anti Jew hate rally the ending-The young boy was killed by blacks who Sharpton riled up.
Gregory-stop inciting race hatred-we have had enough of the Sharpton Terrorist.

The game's rules were--When you see a White person walking down the street-man-woman or child, you punch that Whitey in the Face. I guess Whitey should never say a bad thing about blacks who attack White people-because they are WHITE---

Wash your mouth out with soap right now and go to bed without your supper.  Before he became president, I used to defend Trump against guys that said he was a Nazi.  Boy was I wrong about that.
Keep on preaching the truth, my brother, no matter how it falls on deaf ears.  You are only stating the obvious.  The things that each and every one of us knows and remembers.  The only weird thing is, somehow all the Trumpies are magically okay with these many injustices.  Trump is physically revolting as our president.  The most disgusting and humiliating thing that has ever happened in U.S. politics.  And that was before he was elected.
And yeah.  Trump can pay for his own private security it he needs to dick around in New York and Florida twice a week.  Instead, he is collecting a check from the Treasury to pay the rent for the floor of Trump tower needed for SS protection.  Well, he was until quite recently.  He has already grifted money by renting the hotel rooms that his international visitors occupy as they seek to curry his favor.  Fucking Louis the XVI!   You know he has security.  Just vet his forces and put one or two SS guys in charge.  All of the other guys can be paid bouncers and mercenaries.  I don't think that many guys are trying to shoot him anyway.  He has all of the right-wing crazies on his team.
