I'm a Racist In Liberal's Eyes, Add Border Wall Their List

My Recent Posts

We should empty our prisons of parents with children because the child is deprived of that parent. Liberals care about DACA children that the government could separated from their parent. It is unfair that the child is deprived of that parent. So my question to the liberals please explain why you are willing to treat these children of prisoners unfair and you are showing lack of caring for them?  You have not complained decade after decade.

We all know that the DACA children will never be deported, and the majority by far of the illegal people in this country for decades will never get deported.  Not physically possible and most of the GOP presidential candidate stated this.  Trump promised to deport criminals and have received support for this from Americans including illegal aliens. So the question really being discussed in congress is CITIZENSHIP, however; Obama when he created DACA never included a path the citizenship. Obama DACA program ended in 2007 and now it has been extended to 2011. Extension is in effect 'no fault immigration.'

We are given no choice to accept the fault of them entering the country illegally and that we the citizens are at fault for not enforcing the laws on the book for decades. We the citizens are at fault of letting illegal immigrants work in American and we are at fault that they take jobs American could fill.  Not the illegal immigrant but we the citizens of America.  That is what we in effect hear from liberals supporting DACA.

Phoenix Arizona rally on August 31, 2016 Trump promised to immanently end both amnesties and said, “anyone telling you the core issue is the needs of those living here illegally, simply spent to much time in Washington DC.” GOP and American people have said since the 1986 Amnesty we will never make that mistake again. Implement the enforcement first and insure courts are not screwing with it, which they have a pertinacity to do. Then talk about what to do with those here.

Trump violated the art of the deal by making this desperate plan for amnesty and security. You accepted the primes about dreamers as an important population that must have status including extending the deadline.

The present presidents bill allows in all 4M people from chain migration and the lottery into the country. This will swing demographics to the Democratic party. It even accelerates the 55000 in lottery system process by putting them somewhere else in a program that is faster.

Compromise bill put forth in the house by chairmen; Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) McCaul from the Judiciary and Homeland Security Committees, Deferred Action for Childhood. Limited to the 690 people that filed for and got the status of a dreamer under Obama. Bright red line that the court could not extend to others that partitioned the court. Essentially you made deportation impossible because you made the means of determination fuzzy. Codifying 'no fault of their own into the Constitution' as a result. This is how we got into this position in the first place.

Canada has had laws for many years that if one is born in Canada, one is a Canadian citizen.
When immigrants are deported, their Canadian-born children go with them. But when they reach maturity they can return to Canada, no questions asked.
The elephant in the room is that the USA has not deported illegal immigrants for decades. It has not done so because big business likes the cheap labor that is beneath many employment regulations. This makes it very attractive for immigrants to come the USA. Close the business loophole, close much of the incentive for illegal immigration.

It’s always been about cheap labor and as a result we’ve also ended up with many Europeans from poor European countries.

Dave V., FDR showed that you can purchase votes.  From the Civil War to the Great Depression the government was basically GOP's to control.  FDR used the greed of the crony capitalist and bankers that caused the Great Depression to first get in office with a big Dem congress. He used government programs (with no better success then Obama) to recover and used them to in effect purchase electoral college votes to get re-elected.  This has resulted in a 95% of blacks voting Democratic and I am sure other groups also.   Welfare was increased when segregation and Jim Crow ended, those receiving welfare increase by half again 10 to 15% in a decade.
Welfare destruction of families and society in the FDR created black ghettos, concentrated the vote, has resulted in them looking for greener pastures with they found in illegal uneducated immigrants.  That would have lower expectations.  They would get their votes by promising the ability to stay in America for the illegals and as with the blacks the next generations would vote to continue the policy for the next waves of illegals.  That Dave is where we are at today.  As with welfare those receiving get complacent and consider it a right owed to them so their is always pressure to increase.
So long as the GOP exist the pressure to increase doesn't stop.  California is a good example because it has become a one party state.  The government goes out of control and corruption explodes and sense goes out of government.  Obama and then Hillary and the party thought that the country was close to the edge of becoming a one party nation.  They pushed and are still pushing thinking the tipping point is upon the nation.
That Dave V. is really the greatest reason to not help them get closer to the edge.  That is why the citizens of the country can not give one illegal immigrant a path way to the ballot box.    The people have not become Americans which caused their vote to mirror the citizens.

Citizenship is a personal choice for immigrants, but they should be legal residents.  We're all dreamers to some extent.  Serious criminals ought to be deported and states and municipalities have to assist the federal government in this effort.  All other illegal immigrants should pay a penalty and become legal residents.  It's better for our country and economy!

Dino M., do not cheapen what it means to be a citizen of and country.  Muslims because it is religion wrapped around a government I include as governments that all have similar definitions of a citizen.  It is an international standards.  This is a case like an illegal immigrant that has been in this country for decades or born in America.
"The question then was, whether an Indian, born a member of one of the Indian tribes within the United States, is, merely by reason of his or her birth within the United States, and of his afterward voluntarily separating him or herself from the tribe and taking up residence among white citizens, a citizen of the United States, within the meaning of the first section of the Fourteenth Amendment of the Constitution.
Thus, born a member of an Indian tribe, even on American soil, Elk could not meet the allegiance test of the jurisdictional phrase because he “owed immediate allegiance to” his tribe, a vassal or quasi-nation, and not to the United States. The Court held Elk was not “subject to the jurisdiction” of the United States at birth. “The evident meaning of these last words is, not merely subject in some respect or degree to the jurisdiction of the United States, but completely subject to their political jurisdiction, and owing them direct and immediate allegiance.”  Elk v. Wilkins, 112 U.S. 94 (https://supreme.justia.com/cases
/federal/us/112/94/) (1884),

Again, you are back to FDR, blaming him for whatever ails America today. The USA has had about 70 years to fix this (if indeed, it is so wrong)--and has chosen not too. Your position is of an extreme political minority, hence it is not going anywhere. Even Mr. Trump could not make welfare reform a campaign promise.
"Buying votes" has been a hallmark of all western democracies ever since this social engineering tool was first applied. It seems strange that when people of the lower classes use their vote to better their lives, it is wrong. Yet when the more wealthy people manage to leverage their political power, it is right.
The original constitution allowed only the rich to vote in elections. Obviously this was amended. Would you advocate that we go back to the original intent? I believe the founding fathers believed that the lower classes did not have enough capacity to vote wisely.

The FDR administration set this country up for 4 decades of economic prosperity with the middle class becoming the most widespread and prosperous in the history of mankind. Since the 1980s it’s been all downhill for the middle class. The facts speak for themselves. At the same time income for the top 1% has soared to dizzying heights.

George, Obama picked up FDR's book on dealing with a depression.  The results was also the same.  Obama blamed the errors of pass administrations for the depression and the slow response of the recovery, so did FDR.  Both stimulated the economy with large spending programs that seem to also give the Democrat party supporters or desired supporters an advantage.   We have heard that the present increase in GDP and the drop in unemployment is the result of Obama, a time lag in the response.   FDR's trump was WWII that the change from political influenced spending to war spending.  The destruction of Europe and Asian industrial countries meant that America was the only major industrialized nation without war destruction.   The Marshall Plan was a welfare program for the damaged countries.  George it took decades before they could compete on an equal footing with America.

Thomas Sutrina it's not hard to get called a racist these days by liberals, for starters anyone who didn't vote for Obama, almost half the country, are in their eyes racists.

That sediment isn't new, in many workplaces anyone who doesn't automatically hire blacks when they are in the potential selection is often called a racist.  If you hire one and they don't work out you can quickly find yourself in court accused of being racist, even though you obviously must not have been when you hired them.
Now they throw in anyone who wants to enforce our border, or even uses the legal definition of someone who is not here legally, "illegal immigrant", because to liberals they are racists too.
Is it any wonder Trump got so many votes, there are a lot of people who liberals, generally Democrats, alienated by calling them RACISTS.  If you want people to like you and vote for your causes and candidates, don't call them racists.  If you do then you deserve TRUMP!

Thomas you need to stop watching Fox News and start reading how history actually unfolded.  Obama was no more like FDR than Trump.

Going back to the 1960s when conservatives were called Nazis for supporting law and order, the label of racist has been a club Democrats have used to beat Republicans into submission.
If you’re for border control, you’re a racist. If you oppose affirmative action, you’re a racist.
If you want greater opposition to radical Islam, you’re a racist.
If you don’t believe there’s institutionalized racism in America, you’re a racist.
Basically, if you don’t agree with Democrats, you’re a racist. And their smear for that is to call you a nazi.

George R., Kendra Logan has written a good article comparing RDR, Reagan, and Obama.  This is the summary but much more detail is provided and I have other sources including also say than if facted FDR did a miserable job.  It is actually I believe common knowledge in the world of serious historians.  And George it didn't come from FOX.
"FDR and Obama reacted by increasing government involvement.  FDR’s New Deal, which created at least a hundred new agencies and programs, bears similarities to Obama’s American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.  Both plans involved higher taxes, Keynesian philosophy, and use of the government to control the economy. To some extent, Obama also resembles FDR in that he relies on public emotion and popularity rather than sound logic and common sense."
Riley B., well said I do not think I can add anything of significance.  Thank you.

It all comes down to this basic truth...
"To understand the workings of American politics (all politics really), you have to understand this fundamental law: Conservatives think liberals are stupid. Liberals think conservatives are evil." - Charles Krauthammer, 2002 (Stupid vs Evil)

Charlie R., I have only applied the policy the liberals tell us is only fair and carrying for DACA and children born to illegal alien parents on USA soil, to people in prison.
The argument as you say  might be the most convoluted opening sentence I’ve ever read.   Then Charles, the DACA and children born to illegal alien parents on USA soil must also be as convoluted an argument.  I, Charles R., have only put in words what the liberals are saying about illegal aliens.  The law says they should be deported, but the DACA argument is that they should stay and be given citizenship.  That is no different then saying release prisoners because they have children that are not at fault for their parents breaking the law an thus in prison.   Please explain to us what is the difference in law breaking.
The only way you can find a difference is to say that having laws about entering this country or any country are inhuman
Why hasn't the United Nations taken this inhuman issue up?
Why haven't nations around the world said their borders are open?
American is to my knowledge by the actions of not enforcing the law said this since about 1965 has open borders.  And Europe have just said this a few years ago.  Their citizen are protesting the decision of their liberal governments.   They are unhappy with the people that have come in
The ball is in your court Charles R.,  Fill Us In.  We want to understand why no nation should have borders.  Why citizens should meet these requirements, "not merely subject in some respect or degree to the jurisdiction of the United States, but completely subject to their political jurisdiction, and owing them direct and immediate allegiance.”  Elk v. Wilkins, 112 U.S. 94   maybe the nation doesn't want to be put in a state of chaos?

Charlie Raiche, I know your not that stupid to miss the comparison of deportation to prison, both prevent a person from living in American society.  Which happens to be the society that their child lives in.
You liberals keep telling us that conservatives are dumb  Now you show that this is an oxymoron statement.
Thomas Sutrina Added Jan 30, 2018 - 8:47pm
The liberal argument  for DACA, Charlie as you know is about depriving the child of their parent, and not that the parent broke the law.  So to switch the argument to the actions of the parent is disingenuous.   We both know that Nevada has come out with statistics that says that illegal immigrant are not better residents of America then citizens.   Nevada is not unique so the statistics for other states have no reason to be significantly different.
This present wave is the only wave that has not felt that integration into the American society and becoming a citizens was not important.  The typical comment heard from first generation Americans like me is that their parent or parents did not teach them about the parent's birth nation, learn the language.  Yes some of the culture beliefs were transferred like religious holiday experience.  But that is all.
