If you hadn’t noticed a crippled Korean was allowed into the State of the Union address even though he was a former NORTH KOREAN.

Tubularsock thought we had a WALL to protect us from the “evils” of North Korea!

Come to find out the entire Congress are in favor of North Korean cripples. Or at least it appeared that way with all of them standing up and applauding. Damn!

Now don’t you worry ……. it wasn’t real, it was a sympathetic ploy for war and we ALL can stand united for that! Right?

It is just part of the old “North Korea is so brutal to THEIR OWN CITIZENS” that WE (AMERICA) must “protect” Koreans by bombing them back to the stone age in order to save them from their own evil government.

In a lot of ways it is Trump’s new campaign:

(Oh sure, Tubularsock has made hats!)

But this isn’t even that creative. It’s the old Iraq weapons of mass distraction ploy. Will Americans be fooled again ….. SO SOON?

Because the words have already been used pushing exactly the same bull shit. It is just OrangeFuck mouthing them.

Flash back to DumbFuckShrub, remember how Shrub explained that the Saddam Hussein regime “. . . ha(d) already used poison gas to murder thousands of its own citizens . . .”? (Of course after the Reagan Administration sold them the chemicals, you know for “farm” use.)

You see, this kind of imagery is the stepping stones to preparing the American citizens for another WAR to save humanity.

After all, we have to attack them there rather than have them right here in OUR HOMELAND!

Remember how this works?

But really, it’s too late!

“OUR”(?) President has already LET IN a North Korean Crip! They are already here!

But as President Dump put it, “North Korea’s reckless pursuit of nuclear missiles could very soon threaten our homeland . . .” He left out the classic line “in the shape of a mushroom cloud” that the Shrub Team used so effectively. Too bad.

And those North Koreans have AT LEAST one or two nukes compared to the U.S. nuclear arsenal which if placed end to end would reach to Mars and back BUT IT IS those North Koreans that are dangerous!

Hell somebody might REALLY USE THEM on civilians!

Oh, yeah ……. we already have …….. twice!

So why is Tubularsock supposed to be scared again?

Well, there IS A REASON TO BE SCARED …………………

President OrangeTweet picked Dr. Victor Cha for nomination as the U.S. Ambassador to South Korea.

Cha was vetted and has been approved by South Korea as well. Cha is a very capable and knowledgeable choice to be Ambassador and as American Ambassadors go maybe overqualified if there is such a thing.

So for OrangeTweet to pick him was a surprise to Tubularsock.

BUT as the world turns …….. a few days ago Cha was pulled from the list by the Trump Administration.

WHY? Sure you asked!

Because in private Dr. Victor Cha expressed concerns about a military strike approach to North Korea!

Well good bye, Victor!

It appears that the Trump Administration believes that a “bloody nose” strategy on North Korea is all that it will take to keep North Korea in line.

And the “bloody nose” strategy goes like this:

If in the future North Korea does a missile test or other provocative act the American response would be a carefully targeted attack on a North Korean military facility. But this is exactly why North Korea wants nuclear weapons! North Korea doesn’t want to be Syria or Iraq where the U.S. can bomb anytime it gets upset!. No, with nuclear weapons …….. the warmongering Americans have to think twice.

HAVING nuclear weapons keeps from being attacked at the whim of the U.S.! What is so difficult to understand here?

Now if one reverses this Trump-esque insanity:

If the U.S. happened to do something that North Korea took as a provocative act and North Korea responded by “carefully targeting” a U.S. ship to show their disapproval, just what do you think the U.S.response would be?

So, how can it be assumed that an irrational Kim Jong-un, as he is portrayed, would take it all in stride and not assume that this “selected rational limited attack” wasn’t a full out attack and in response start a war that kills hundreds of thousands of North and South Korean civilians and large numbers of US troops in a matter of hours?

Tubularsock Added Feb 4, 2018 - 12:14pm
Are we off to war again? Or better stated, have we ever left war?
Well yes and no. The Trump-esque World fits ALL the criterion for mass stupidity and if there is one thing the American public is exceptional at, it's that!

What in the world are you talking about?  We’re not interested in protecting North Koreans, we’re interested in protecting all of those outside of North Korea.  North Korea is clearly under the control of a crazy, cult-like dictatorship.  I don’t see people like that giving up power before pressing the nuclear button.  Don’t believe me, look at what happened to the crazy cult people of Jonestown and Waco.

wsucram15 Added Feb 5, 2018 - 10:35am
Trump has a bad plan for this.
and Johnny..Waco is NOT a comparison for N korea..I bet you thought Kent State was justified.  We just over reach and in this instance with iffy relations with China/Russia we might want to rethink any moves. They are talking to us but helping them.
Its a bad situation especially with S Korea talking to N Korea.
Katharine Otto Added Feb 5, 2018 - 12:24pm
Alas, you are so right that it's not funny.  N. Korea, Russia, and China are united in one thing: getting the American meddling out of Asia.  S. Korea may want us out, too, since we are drawing fire towards them.  The US has used the "first strike" argument over and over to justify its wars, including the Revolutionary War, Lincoln's war, the Spanish-American War, WWI, and WWII, but it doesn't admit to the provocations that led to the strikes.
Jeanne,  I like the idea of these governments talking to and helping each other.  We are the encroachers here, and it would serve us right if they ganged up on us.
Our government--not just Trump but the whole kit and kaboodle--is paranoid, and that makes it dangerous for all of us.
Dino Manalis Added Feb 5, 2018 - 12:43pm
We should strive for peace; stability; and prosperity in the world, while Russia and China ought to be on our side against Pyongyang's provocations.
Tubularsock Added Feb 5, 2018 - 12:55pm
Dino Manalis, Tubularsock agrees with your thoughts here.
One would think that all our self interests would be served if we all worked together.
But then that EGO runs up against sanity and historically EGO runs the show and insanity becomes the “go-to”.
But we can hope but pack a .38 just in case!
Tubularsock Added Feb 5, 2018 - 12:57pm
Johnny Fever, thanks for your comment. You are correct with your statement, “We’re not interested in protecting North Koreans . . .”.
You and Tubularsock are in agreement there. However you missed the point which was the U.S. “acts” like we care so as to create a war supporting American public. Another “Humanitarian War” scenario like Shrub and Obomber ran in Iraq, Syria, and Libya.
Remember in each of those wars the U.S. used the excuse for invasion by acting like we wanted to protect the “people” from their “evil” rulers.
If you look at the polls you’ll see that the American citizens, “Don’t Want War” with anybody.
So in order to get elected President, Obomber ran as a “Peace” President and OrangeTweet ran as ending our engagements in other countries and improve the American Homeland.
But they both doubled crossed the voters and proceed with American wars of aggression!
That Is The Point!
Now, that is not to say that Kim Jong-un may not be crazier than batshit with a cult-like style BUT the fucker has THE BOMB and he knows that having that bomb provides him with insurance from being attacked by the U.S., Russia, or China.
That is the point of having the bomb!
Now as for Jonestown and Waco in both cases there was no Larger Threat to anyone outside their own groups. Crazy folks sure, but there was no fear from them to the greater community.
In fact, in the Waco case it was the over-reaction by the FBI who in truth murdered them because of their approach. There were better ways of handling that incident.
Jonestown, was different still. Nobody was forced to drink the Kool-Aid.
Thanks Johnny, Tubularsock would be interested to hear what you think further.

Katharine Otto, thanks for your comment. Tubularsock would love to be “wrong” and funny but all he has left is being “right” and not funny. Funny how that works.
And Tubularsock agrees with your evaluation of the U.S. “first strike” justification. It appears “WE” are the bad actors in world events, doesn’t it.
Now Tubularsock is just a little “paranoid” here. Tubularsock has a “feeling” that “kit and kaboodle” is following Tubularsock. Pretty sure!

I couldn't help but notice that "scared" and "sacred" are only a shift of one letter. Did you make a mistake?
BTW, plans are afoot for Canadians to invade the US. Apparently only 30% of Americans approve of their president, which constitutes reason enough to free the other 70% to legally de-brainwash the 30%.
With the USA military looking elsewhere in the world, the invasion from the north should be a piece of cake.
You guys are building the wall in the wrong place!
Tubularsock Added Feb 5, 2018 - 5:24pm

Your Canadian attack logic is very sound. In fact, that logic has gotten the U.S. into at least a dozen wars.
And really, we may just put that wall on wheels at an additional cost of 17 trillion and move it around! American ingenuity at its best.
Thanks for your insights, Dave!

“Remember in each of those wars the U.S. used the excuse for invasion by acting like we wanted to protect the “people” from their “evil” rulers.”
Perhaps you haven’t seen the red hat Trump likes to wear.  It says “Make America Great Again.”  He basically ran a populist/nationalist campaign meaning he has no love for the North Korean people. As the whole world knows, they are trapped in a cult/country and their fate likely rests with the fate of their bizarre leader.  In addition, we didn’t go to war in Iraq for humanitarian reasons.  If we cared about their fate, we wouldn’t have left allowing ISIS to fill the power void.  To be sure, on some occasions we involve our military for humanitarian reasons, but there is no evidence that was true in any of the examples you offered. Strike 1.
You get a second strike for suggesting we engage in war for the sake of aggression.  There were reasons for every war we have fought and aggression is not one of those reasons.  Should war occur with North Korea it will be because we don’t feel it’s right/safe/sane for a crazy man to have the ability to blow up the world.   Strike 2.
You get the third strike for writing about serious matters despite looking like a clown.
You're out.

Tub - perhaps the orange one is planning to build a wall all around America with a rubber roof so that missiles will bounce back to where they came from? That would work as good as his other plans!

Tubularsock Added Feb 6, 2018 - 11:49am
Johnny Fever, thanks for your response.
Johnny, you are correct ....... we don’t go into these countries for humanitarian reason in truth. No disagreement there.
The point being made is that our leaders “play that card” as one of the reasons that we are going to attack those countries. This is done to attempted to get the American citizen to “rally around the flag” and support the invasion.
That’s it. It is a deception.
As for your second point. When a country takes their military and invades another sovereign country what do YOU call that?
Tubularsock calls it AGGRESSION.
And as for reasons for fighting every war ....... sure there are. But it doesn’t make it ok or correct!
Germany, Japan, Russia, China, India, Pakistan ALL have reasons for going to war but that doesn’t make it ok or correct.
However, the United States seems to believe that we can attack any other country because “we have reasons”?
Stop and look at this Johnny, did Afghanistan attack us? Did Iraq? Vietnam? Liberia?
WE attacked them ....... it is called AGGRESSION no matter how much you attempt to rational the action. The U.S. is the aggressive force in all these examples.
And finally, this world that we are playing in is one big circus anyway so why not a clown directing it toward sanity.
Tubularsock Added Feb 6, 2018 - 11:50am

Regarding your conversation with Fever, allow me to mediate.  You both believe the attack in Iraq and the saber-rattling with North Korea were not done for humanitarian reasons.  I imagine Johnny believes we attacked Iraq because of the belief they had WMDs and are rattling sabers with North Korea in the interest of getting them to abandon its nuclear weapons program.  And you believe the US attacked Iraq and are rattling sabers with North Korea under the guise they are interested in helping the people of Iraq and North Korea. I know Johnny can produce countless quotes from prominent politicians supporting his assertions.  Can you do the same?
Tubularsock Added Feb 7, 2018 - 8:39pm
Thomas, thanks for your attempt at clarity.
All you have to do is go back to Shrubs 2002 speeches, or Cheney’s press releases, or Rumsfeld and Rice. They all eluded to saving the Iraqi people from a fate worse than death. Like they cared .... they didn’t!
And Obomber played the same tune with Gaddafi, Syria and Korea.
Now Dump is just following the same “great American savior” routine with Korea. And returning to Afghanistan and staying in Syria.
Just google it or hear them on youtube. There are plenty to pick from but Tubularsock warns you to wear your waders because the bull shit is rather high.
Thomas, it is just the same deck different dealers.
Now let Tubularsock reiterate that these dictators aren’t worth shit but American Interests are corporate interests NOT people interest.
And that is where American hypocrisy hits its all time high.
We support brutal dictators all over the world and we support so called “moderate” terrorists and not so “moderate” terrorists all over the world.
So you tell Tubularsock, Thomas, just where is the moral high ground in that position?
Sam Nowaczynski Added Feb 8, 2018 - 3:44pm
“But this isn’t even that creative. It’s the old Iraq weapons of mass distraction ploy. Will Americans be fooled again ….. SO SOON?”
It’s unfortunate that you think WMDs was only a ploy to attack Iraq for some other reason.  It suggests you don’t think anyone in the government is honest and that some grand conspiracy is at play.  Anyways, unlike Iraq, North Korea openly admits it has nuclear weapons and isn’t afraid to use them.  To prove it, they’ve launched several rockets over Japan, let alone sinking of a South Korean Naval ship that killed 46 people.  So there is no fraud at play.  North Korea has a nuclear weapons program and it gets better every day.  I don’t profess to know what to do about it, but at the very least we need to know that the country is capable of inflicting major damage and as time progresses the amount of damage they’re capable of inflicting will only increase.
Tubularsock Added Feb 8, 2018 - 8:09pm
Sam, thanks for talking the time to comment. Tubularsock appreciates it.
One good give away Sam, was there were no WMD’s to be found! And through released documents years after the fact it was clear that IT WAS A PLOY. By golly, Tubularsock knows if may be difficult to believe but Dick Cheney and WonderBoy LIED to get us into the IRAQ war!
And Tubularsock doesn’t want to get into all that but the U.S. was the country THAT SUPPORTED Saddam INSANE. And we traded with Iraq and provided arms to him.
Just call your local CIA office and ask them to fill you in. And because there is no conspiracy going on they’ll provide you with their outline that they are working off of and you will be correct that there is no conspiracy or backdoor deals going on.
Feel better?
There is no argument that North Korea has the bomb because our very good ally Pakistan sold them the plans ..... sweet. And if you were North Korea you might even understand why they wanted it.
You see North Korea noticed that those countries that don’t have the “BOMB” are sitting targets for U.S. takeover, you know because we love democracy so much.
Now that they have it, if they are threatened they are crazy enough to use it but they are banking on the fact that the rest of the world isn’t as crazy as they happen to be.
It may be a great idea for the U.S. to stop antagonizing them but you can’t count on that because SmallHandsNoDick has to puff himself up ....... speaking of crazies.
The problem is that it is too late already unless both sides could negotiate in good faith but the chances that the U.S. could do that knowing our past history of broken and changing treaties is pretty unlikely.
The Native Americans figured that out but too late for their own good.
And what we have gotten ourselves into is a Dr. Strangelove scenario and neither you or Tubularsock has the ability to stop it.
As Roy used to say, “Happy Trails To You, Sam.
