DRAFT: Is the FBI totally corrupt?? Can we change this??

My Recent Posts

We know that nearly all the secret police organizations around the world support the current person in power and the police force is usually purged of those with political views different from the leader. The FBI is, apparently, no exception. Corruption continues to flourish from Obama supporters in the Bureau now. The current director is ineffective.

Is this normal? It was during the 48 years of Hoover.!

It should be clear that:

[1] the Clintons were protected from investigation and potential prosecution by the FBI and

[2] During "investigations" of several persons in the Obama Administration, many were given immunity or protected in other ways.

Is this the way our system should work? Is the FBI totally corrupt??

Comments??

Is the system broke beyond repair?

rycK.
One of the biggest problems society faces today, is that too many people want things to be TOTALLY something. When I hear, the word ABSOLUTELY, I know the speaker has not fully considered the subject!

We live in a convoluted; complex world that grows more so with technology. The desire for absolutes is really an escape from the pain of examining your own beliefs and adapting/accepting new ideas.

There has been corruption in the FBI since it's inception. What is needed now is another Elliot Ness to clean out the trash. But it is not going to come from a world where two sides are ABSOLOTELY and TOTALLY right!

rycK,
Did you re-write and post this? Where have all the other comments gone? Expat makes a good point. I have been thinking along similar lines, to wit: I believe everything and nothing. There are no end points, and everything is in a state of constant flux. No absolutes. The FBI is symptomatic of the US generally, for what that's worth.

no, I could not make the post button work and generated 5 of these then went to the list and deleted all but one. Thought it worked............apparently it did not.

'The FBI is symptomatic of the US generally, for what that's worth."

Agree with that.

Corruption is endemic in politics.

Absolutely, all the government agencies bias their work according to their own political agendas and with the knowledge that if what they do doesn't please the president, things might get tough for them, up to and possibly including losing their jobs.

I'm not sure how you fix it, but the bias has become overwhelming and very predictable. Those the FBI currently favors are practically immune to prosecution while at the same time those they don't favor are under a microscope and they are closely examining everything they have ever done for evidence that might make it possible for them to make them look bad.

They are ignoring criminals so they can focus their efforts on things that make their political opponents look bad.

"Those the FBI currently favors are practically immune to prosecution while at the same time those they don't favor are under a microscope and they are closely examining everything they have ever done for evidence that might make it possible for them to make them look bad."

That neatly sums up the current status of the FBI and DOJ and perhaps parts of CIA and NSA, among others like EPA in the past.

This is typical oppression by government, is unconstitutional and unjust and typical of leftist organizations. In the Era of Lenin those out of favor with government would have been executed.
