Liberal Media Bias

I wrote this post a few days ago, contrasting the mainstream media's fawning admiration

for our previous traitorous leader and contrasting it with their treatment of Trump; but since writing it, the Fake News (New York Times) came out with an anonymous op ed piece slamming Trump as if written by a moderate Republican in the White House who, anonymously but in concert with others, works to sabotage Trump because he's out of control crazy:

"A senior White House official has published an anonymous op-ed in the New York Times titled: I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration (I work for the president but like-minded colleagues and I have vowed to thwart parts of his agenda and his worst inclinations.).

The Times prefaces the piece with this disclaimer:

The Times today is taking the rare step of publishing an anonymous Op-Ed essay. We have done so at the request of the author, a senior official in the Trump administration whose identity is known to us and whose job would be jeopardized by its disclosure. We believe publishing this essay anonymously is the only way to deliver an important perspective to our readers. We invite you to submit a question about the essay or our vetting process here.

I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration

President Trump is facing a test to his presidency unlike any faced by a modern American leader.

It’s not just that the special counsel looms large. Or that the country is bitterly divided over Mr. Trump’s leadership. Or even that his party might well lose the House to an opposition hellbent on his downfall.

The dilemma — which he does not fully grasp — is that many of the senior officials in his own administration are working diligently from within to frustrate parts of his agenda and his worst inclinations.

I would know. I am one of them...."

The NYT will do anything to get attention for its failing business... except post truth.  How convenient to be able to publish an article against Trump from an (alleged, anonymous) White House insider.

"A Stunning Betrayal": Hannity Slams "Swamp Sewer Creature" Behind Anonymous NYT "Hit Piece"

"Shortly after President Trump lashed out Wednesday night at the "GUTLESS anonymous person" who penned an intensely critical New York Times op-ed describing the "resistance" inside the administration, Fox News host Sean Hannity... and guest Newt Gingrich took turns slamming the "extraordinary statement of arrogance" as a piece of "deep state" propaganda, and its author as a traitorous, arrogant individual hell-bent on undermining not only the administration, but the American democratic system.

Gingrich accused the author of intentionally sabotaging the US government while comparing the anonymous author to disgraced FBI agent Peter Strzok, who was stripped of his security clearance and let go from the FBI for spearheading an clandestine operation from within the bureau to stop Trump from serving as president. Hannity slammed the piece as a "stunning betrayal" while highlighting Trump's myriad accomplishments during his brief time in office (breakthroughs involving North Korea, the economy and tax reform among them) as evidence against the author's claim that Trump is heedlessly amoral. The author of the op-ed is clearly just another "swamp sewer creature" who "can't stand the new sheriff in town," Hannity said."

Before the Fake News New York Times stole the limelight, I had originally intended this post to start with:

"Trump should be impeached!"  He's guilty of this, that and the other thing... Waaaahhhh!

from the Foxhole blog article:

Flashback: Obama Offered ‘Hush Money’ to Jeremiah Wright

"Remember when the media raised hell over Obama’s connections to this racist, extremist douche? Yeah, me neither.

Via PJ Media

….Barack Obama also offered an individual hush money “for the principal purpose of influencing the election,” but you probably never heard about it. It wasn’t to silence a mistress though, it was to silence his former pastor, Jeremiah Wright. Wright’s inflammatory, anti-American rhetoric caused Obama significant headaches during his first presidential campaign, and he tried to contain the damage to protect his chances of winning the White House....

“Did Obama himself ever make an effort to see you?”

“Yes,” Wright said. “Barack said he wanted to meet me in secret, in a secure place. And I said, ‘You’re used to coming to my home, you’ve been here countless times, so what’s wrong with coming to my home?’ So we met in the living room of the parsonage of Trinity United Church of Christ, at South Pleasant Avenue right off 95th Street, just Barack and me. I don’t know if he had a wire on him. His security was outside somewhere.

“And one of the first things Barack said was, ‘I really wish you wouldn’t do any more public speaking until after the November election.’ He knew I had some speaking engagements lined up, and he said, ‘I wish you wouldn’t speak. It’s gonna hurt the campaign if you do that.’

So, here we have Barack Obama wanting to meet in a “secret” and “secure” location, and then urging Wright to keep quiet for the sake of his presidential campaign, and an offer of $150,000 in hush money from a close Obama friend, and likely a campaign donor as well. Wright didn’t accept the hush money, but by his account, Obama is guilty of everything Trump is being accused of….

For 20 years Obama sat in a pew at the United Church of Christ while Rev. Jeremiah Wright preached hate-filled, anti-Semitic, anti-white, Black Liberation Theology, and never heard a thing.

Obama’s chief counsel of the IRS, William Wilkins, helped a church connected to Obama’s good buddy Rev. Jeremiah Wright get out of an IRS probe in 2008 while working as a private attorney.

Under the Obama regime, you could “God Damn America”, be a racist demagogue, and spew unbelievably retarded statements like ‘America started the AIDS virus’, and 9/11 was “America’s chickens” “coming home to roost”, and the media would give you a free pass."

And some people thought it was racist of me to have written about the reasons why Obama should be considered in terms of prophecies about the Antichrist or a precursor described as a tall black man who would lead the biggest armies in the West and support the Shiites of Iran shortly before the end times....

Ignoring the prophetic angle - I say, let the FBI probe the pallets of American cash airlifted to Iran at the end of Obama's presidency - but they're too busy trying to bash Trump to look into crimes committed by "their team" members like Obama and Hillary.

Obama gave Iran $55,000,000.00 right out of the treasury?  Bad Barack, he dared give the Iranians THEIR money back, if Obama had been Trump, he would have put up a bunch of hotels in Jerusalem with Iran's money,  and you are just perping a rightist "talking lie." You must be chatting with Q again, eh, David?  I'm sure the "usual suspect rightists" will be by to bolster your BS.

Everybody knows it was KellyAnne Conway, the last sane voice in the Trump administration.

The anonymous letter is probably a CIA/DNI propaganda event; it is by the Deep State.
The anonymous letter is about setting the Narrative that President Trump is incompetent so that the Democratic Congress can impeach him. It is just part of the same campaign by the Wolf book, the Woodward book, by the Schumer/Maxine Watters/Elizabeth Warren/Bernie Sanders/Cory Booker demogogues.
Yes, the Liberal Press is Biased!  They have an agenda to fulful. Rebuilding the Tower of Babel!  With Open Borders. Trump and his Wall and his deplorables have to go!

I Know Who the “Senior Official” Is Who Wrote the NY Times Op-Ed
By Paul Craig Roberts
September 07, 2018 "Information Clearing House" I know who wrote the anonymous “senior Trump official” op-ed in the New York Times. The New York Times wrote it.
The op-ed ( is an obvious forgery. As a former senior official in a presidential administration, I can state with certainty that no senior official would express disagreement anonymously. Anonymous dissent has no credibility. Moreover, the dishonor of it undermines the character of the writer. A real dissenter would use his reputation and the status of his high position to lend weight to his dissent.
The New York Times’ claim to have vetted the writer also lacks credibility, as the New York Times has consistently printed extreme accusations against Trump and against Vladimir Putin without supplying a bit of evidence. The New York Times has consistently misrepresented unsubstantiated allegations as proven fact. There is no reason whatsoever to believe the New York Times about anything.
Consider also whether a member of a conspiracy working “diligently” inside the administration with “many of the senior officials” to “preserve our democratic institutions while thwarting” Trump’s “worst inclinations” would thwart his and his fellow co-conspirators’ plot by revealing it!
This forgery is an attempt to break up the Trump administration by creating suspicion throughout the senior level.

Unfortunately the media has been doing this all along, as long as their were newspapers, radio, and TV.   We were just less aware of it, because we didnt have alternative sources of information.  We didnt have the history we have now of watching their bias, while they they claim to have none.
Some of it was deliberate and conscious, hiding things "for the good of the country".   Some of it was a reporters agenda.  Think of the questions Katie Couric made famous "dont you think that..." or "isnt it true that..."   these are obviously showing a point of view rather than simply asking a question.  Some of it was just human nature, in that we all have a point of view.
That the NTY would publish an anonymous editorial, just flies in the face of all reason.  Editorials are opinion, and whose opinion matters tremendously, even on an ordinary day.  Even on an ordinary day we want to know whether the author knows their subject, and what is their background.  Even more relevant, when the author is claimed to be working in the White House.  Was it a janitor or Mike Pence that wrote the article, it matter and the NYT should be ashamed of themselves.

Just like any republican, every single one is far worse than the last, and will be the downfall of america.
There are several hundred people that work in the WH, many of which have very limited access, many of which are career bureaucrats, and many of which are Obama holdovers.  What a shock, that they are trying to continue the Coup against Trump.
This is just the next "Trump  current outrage"

"Coup against Trump, "indeed.  You're better following your orders to make socialism and immigration issues to bolster the Trump party in the mid terms.  What's the point of your coup crap? More same old rightist noise. Your better off keeping the catcalls up about how democrats are all Maoists, Marxists, Leninists, and Stalinists, but per usual, you could never define those labels, just use them to stir up fellow rightists and signal you are a bigger rightist than other rightists.   Ongoing rightist hysteria.  Better you start on Obama, Steel Wheeze.   Always nice to know he's still President.  LOL

The blame for the NYT piece can be laid directly at D'OhBama's door(although Congresscretins surely played their part, too); he signed the 2016 NDAA(in Dec 2017) which makes it perfectly "legal" for any MSM outlet to publish propaganda.
Apparently, it doesn't much matter what side; the provision - expertly named in the finest tradition of the Shrub, that what it says means exactly the opposite of what it does - simply allows unbacked, unverified stories to appear anywhere in MSM without fear of consequence, say for libel or slander.  The likes of Bezos and the Criminal News Network have not been slow to take advantage.
i saw where Trump appeared quite upset about it(or is portraying himself to be, in order to gauge reaction), which may have been the entire intent of the propaganda, as was well-noted above.

Flying Junior Added Sep 10, 2018 - 1:19am
Honestly, once I read the letter, I didn't get what the kerfluffle was all about.  Several of Trump's former cabinet members and various republican congress critters have been criticizing Trump for the same little things since day one.  He's crude and unfiltered.  He's vain, narcissistic, petty and insecure.  He is impulsive and vulgar.  The mouth spouts his hatred and suspicion before his handlers urge him to walk back the latest atrocious comments and tweets.  This is fairly well agreed upon by all parties.  It's just that the republicans are willing to overlook these faults to harness the political power that he has very much to his credit amassed.
How about that Hymn to Donald Trump the Burghal Hidage just penned?  You guys love this vile fiend.  You are perfectly fine with all of these problems and sins.  A small price to pay without any question.
Now if someone had slashed into Trump mercilessly and described how vicious and selfish and uninformed he truly is that would have been worth reading.  I thought the editorial was so boring it bordered on being painful.  A complete wash.

Nobody prevented Trump from doing anything at all that I can see.  He is ready to impose prohibitive tariffs on consumer electronics assembled in China any day now.  That's some serious consequences for just about everybody who uses technology.  I'm seriously thinking about making two major purchases this week before the whole thing goes straight to hell.
Try to prevent him from ruining anything else, please WH moles!!  Try a little harder.

For all of you sillies...  As far as the not-so-much-news of the NYT Op-Ed...
GrannieStandingForTruth says:
The op-ed piece and Woodard's book aren't new revelations. Anyone with a thinking brain or common sense knows that Trump is crazier than a road lizard and dangerous. Hundreds of psychiatrist warned people that Trump wasn't playing with a full deck and that he's dangerous. The GOP knew that too. It wasn't top secret. And it's gonna get worse.

They are scared of him. Politicians are being threatened.

Something about the op-ed smells fishy to me. The person is so-called dropping a dime on one hand but praising Trump's draconian policies on the other hand. He is telling people what's obvious and what everyone already knows but a little too gleeful in making sure that those draconian policies go through so he can get his cut of the bounty. My guess is Rudy,Trump or Trump's family leaked the op-ed. It's a plant/setup. Well, what's in the dark will surely come to the light.

The Trump administration makes Nixon look like a choir boy.
