Final Play of the Political Game

My Recent Posts

Any resemblance to any location real or imaginary is strictly coincidental in nature … because this is all just crazy conspiracy theories and nothing like this could ever happen in any land of free and brave people … right?

Armageddon, Apocalypse, SHTF, Dystopian Future … such are some of the topics once again circulating here so I figured I would toss in my thoughts on how I think it will all end. On something of a sidenote … or an endnote as it were, I did follow up with a little story about how crazy all this talk is, but for the sake of hypothetical conjecture, I figured I would give this a go as well.

It is not like there is any real division in our country … what? Really? Oh. Never mind.

The division in our nation has not been this great since the times leading up to the American War Between the States. Politicians are now actively calling for people to institute mob violence … or at least intimidation against political opponents and their supporters (ala Maxine Waters). Politicians in Baltimore and Ferguson have led people to believe that it is perfectly fine, acceptable and even understandable if not commendable to riot in the streets.

We have seen the government after Katrina send in National Guard units that were perfectly willing to deny people of their God-Given and Constitutionally protected rights. An elderly woman field tackled by numerous troops because she had the audacity to remain in her home and … horror of horrors, had a .22 caliber revolver to defend herself from all those poor kids stealing over-priced sneakers and big screen televisions to feed their poor hungry kids.

The only cases of “police abuse” that make the national press seem to be instances wherein the shoot was by all rights justified. Conversely, cases where there is an egregious abuse of police authority resulting in the injury or death of civilians is largely ignored outside of local news reports, and if it makes the news at all, generally fades off just as quickly. This wreaks of a bad Public Relations campaign to further divide Law Enforcement and the people. The use of targets being distributed to law enforcement agencies utilizing pregnant women, children and even elderly people in wheelchairs on their firing range targets is a clear means to desensitize the cops and military personnel to the act of shooting … pregnant women, children and even elderly people. The desensitization is an action I have personally seen enacted in foreign locations where our government agencies have trained people.

The “prepper” … meaning simply one who is Prepared … which used to be a motto of the Scouts before they became condom-ridden political playgrounds for PC culture, has been demonized as a crazy conspiracy theorist. This is despite the fact … and just one instance in this case as an example, that there is roughly a twelve percent chance on any given day that a massive CME or EMP emanating forth from the sun could reduce the entire electrical grid completely, rendering it useless and resulting in utter chaos, especially in the inner cities. Such an occurrence would give us somewhere in the neighborhood of fifteen hours to prepare for the complete loss of the electrical grid. Can you imagine the panic? Thus, there would likely be no warning as it would be inevitable anyhow. The government, after all, does have to protect the people … even from themselves.

Let’s presume however, that no such chances exist and the very idea of any repeats of the Carrington Event in 1859 or the 1989 pulse/ejection that resulted in a blackout through the greater portion of Quebec or the 2012 pulse/ejection that would have wiped out most of the global grid … barely mentioned in the press and no warnings given to the people before its projected strike … let’s presume that absolutely none of this could ever happen today. Just for the sake of discussion.

As was noted, we have already seen the devastating riots and we have seen government implement martial law without even a declaration and there has been no negative feedback from the people of the nation … in fact the government was largely applauded in all of these cases. So what would happen if numerous high-profile, justified police shootings all occurred at or about the same time? Rioting in all of the major cities. Mayors encouraging police to stand down. Riots continuing until stores are closed down, shelves empty … the people would demand martial law be implemented in the cities.

Thus, step one of the plan is complete.

Martial law in place, stores across the nation would be rationed … after all, those people in the major population centers have to eat also right? So now all that food has to be routed to the major cities. Never mind that the vast majority of it will be stored in government warehouses, remaining undistributed, much as disaster relief supplies have been in the past. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. He is from the government and he is here to help.

People in all major cities are now living effectively on war rations. People are limited in how much bread, milk or sugar they can buy. Meanwhile, the rural knuckle draggers and mouth breeders continue to live high on the hog, getting fat while the rest of the nation is starving. People in the inner cities are outraged yet again, and demand even more government intervention. The NDAA already declares that anyone with more than a seven day supply of food are criminals and subject to have their stores stolen … I mean confiscated by the federal government. The urban dwellers are, after all, the largest portion of the population. (See the Hillary Popular vote and the county by county breakdown of election results for confirmation) But hey. The vast majority of the country is demanding that the government act and make sure the mouth-breathing, knuckle dragging rural folk pay their fair share. Martial law is now implemented in the rural regions of the land of the free and home of the slave … I mean brave.

Phase two complete.

The government now controls both production and supply of all food, has unlimited power due to a national implementation of martial law. Let the police state commence.

A Purdy Fairy Tale

This is a magical story about a magical land full of gun totin’, Bible thumpin’, bitter and unwashed deplorable Klingon masses … also known as Crazy Conspiracy Theorists. This magical land is called Murica. Murica has a very kind and benevolent government who go out of their way to protect the people from themselves, but the crazy conspiracy theorists just do not understand what is necessary to lovingly care and provide for such a large and expansive nation. The kind and benevolent government grants tens of billions of dollars to its greatest corporate donors through corporate welfare, and hands out the rest to the little people as an act of kindness unmatched in human history. And the government keeps the people safe too.

Why in 1932 they disobeyed direct orders to stand down so they could charge in gassing American Veterans and their families who wanted the benefits that they had been promised … surely they did not think that the government OWED them these benefits, merely because it had promised them.

A crazy conspiracy theorist in Waco Texas was one of 76 people killed in his compound. The government could have gotten him easily as he was a registered FFL carrier so they knew where he lived, and he had lawfully registered all of his guns and he went into town by himself twice a week … but the government did not want just him … they had to protect the people from themselves so they killed all the bad people in Waco, not just the leader … including all seventy-six people still in the building and twelve children who would have only grown up to be more Crazy Conspiracy Theorists.

After three months of hounding by an FBI informant, a man sawed down a shotgun to eighteen and one quarter inches of barrel length … only one quarter of an inch more than the minimal eighteen inches allowed by law … so he must have been a bad man … and the kind and benevolent government killed his son and wife in return … all to protect the people.

Why the federal government is so concerned about the safety of their own citizens that they have created nineteen terror events utilizing intellectually challenged people, and providing them with the plan and the tools to commit terrorist acts on American Soil against American Citizens ... and then the FBI has stopped every one of these bad people!

There are literally hundreds of cases where the kind and benevolent government has instigated acts of violence on those bad people … even the ones who are innocent … or at the wrong address … or who have dogs … and the list goes on about all the kindness of the kind and benevolent government … but these gun totin’, Bible thumpin’, bitter and unwashed deplorable Klingon masses just do not appreciate the actions of their dear leaders.

How does the government fund many of these programs?

Many of the Crazy Conspiracy Theorists and others sometimes travel with large sums of money or have other personal property that the government needs more than the people do, but the people are so deplorable that they do not merely hand everything they own over to the government. These people force the government to confiscate their property through federal forfeiture laws. The government is after all, kind and benevolent and knows how to spend this money and use their personal property better than the people who only work for it do! Don't you just love living in the land of the free?

Thanks for the article, Ward - a fine example in the tradition of Patrick Henry, who said:
“We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth and listen to the song of that siren, till she transforms us into beasts... I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst, and to provide for it.”
Patrick Henry
...or TJ, who wrote:
"I am not among those who fear the people.  They, and not the rich, are our dependence for continued freedom.  And to preserve their independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt.  We must make our election between economy and liberty, or profusion and servitude.  If we run into such debt as that we must be taxed in our meat and in our drink, in our necessaries and our comforts, in our labors and our amusements, for our callings and our creeds, as the people of England are, our people, like them, must come to labor sixteen hours in the twenty-four, and give the earnings of fifteen of these to the government for their debts and daily expenses; and the sixteenth being insufficient to afford us bread, we must live, as they now do, on oatmeal and potatoes, have no time to think, no means of calling our mis-managers to account, but be glad to obtain subsistence by hiring ourselves to rivet their chains on the necks of our fellow-sufferers.  Our land-holders, too, like theirs, retaining indeed the title and stewardship of estates called theirs - but held really in trust for the treasury - must wander, like theirs, in foreign countries, and be contented with penury, obscurity, exile, and the glory of the nation.
This example reads to us the salutary lesson that private fortunes are destroyed by public as well as by private extravagances.  And this is the tendency of all human governments.  A departure from principle in one instance becomes a precedent for the second; that second for a third; and so on, ‘til the bulk of society is reduced to being mere automatons of misery, to have no sensibilities left but for sinning and suffering.  Then begins, indeed, the bellum omnium in omnia(war of all against all), which some philosophers observing to be so general in this world, have mistaken for the natural, instead of the abusive state of man.  And the fore-horse of this frightful team is public debt.  Taxation follows that, and in its train, wretchedness and oppression."
-- Thomas Jefferson(1743-1826), US Founding Father, drafted the Declaration of Independence, 3rd US President
Source: Letter to Samuel Kercheval, Monticello, July 12, 1816
A devastation of the electrical grid, whether via CME or nuke explosion at altitude, would indeed likely begin the bellum omnium in omnia, for so few have prepared - or indeed, would be likely to survive - being without electricity for any length of time.  Food, the sanitary disposal of waste, the protection of assets against thieves or roving mobs of people - the lack of knowledge concerning these things would simply contribute to the rapid decline into chaos and barbarism.
However, in the era of the Trump presidency, i don't think that this will happen, or is likely to happen; Trump is fully aware of the danger to the electrical grid(and it's current precarious state), and is already taking steps to secure the necessary backup supplies(like the giant transformers) needed to restore the grid in any worst-case scenario.
This may be an excellent side-benefit of more jobs and increasing wages; those who WISH to prepare may soon have the spare funds to DO so.  The most immediate need, i suspect, would be the local restoration of power, so that knowledge(how to build home power plants) would need wide dissemination; i've been of the opinion for some time, now, that the electrical grid should be decentralized, as in the event of sabotage or disaster, pockets of power can be maintained or repaired relatively easily.
Second would be the knowledge of how to purify water, as well as how to dispose of waste, say by the digging of outhouses - for without power to pump anything, the sewage systems currently in place would back up swiftly, and disease would also run rampant.
Third would be how to build greenhouses and grow food; i have info on "aquaculture," which involves growing veggies in vats which contain fish which fertilize the plants and provide protein, as well.
i've read that a pretty good philosophy is to plan as if you'll live to be a hundred, and prepare as if you'll die tomorrow.  The definition of an optimist would be an 80-yr.-old planting fruit trees.

Funny, I just submitted an article about how to restore power locally, and even to provide for others, including the means to protect the materials and the basic information about how to establish power after any catastrophic event. Water distillation is substantially easier than purification, though both are efficient and easy at small scale. I use ... or hope to build here or in any other location I may end up, the food forests, in addition to vertical footbox farming over the tilapia (or bluegill) ponds.
I figure I am going to live to be a hundred ... or die trying!

Ward,  I believe history is repeating itself in the near term. A second "Gilded Age" is upon us and the peon's are growing weary. The crumbs being thrown to the pheasants from the economic gains are leaving little more than a meager existence for the majority. The pendulum has swung enormously in favor of the wealthy and is due to change direction. Whether this happens remains to be seen with the current rules of money and politics. Globalism is inevitable with protecting your piece of the pie the main objective.
Ward Tipton Added Oct 9, 2018 - 7:54am
Cliff M, I most certainly do not believe that Globalism is inevitable, though it sure is a determined beast. No doubt about that.
George N Romey Added Oct 9, 2018 - 8:13am
We are an empire in decline.  All of the signs are here.  Instead of focusing on real issues like how do we better integrate our workforce with technology, reduce our global intervention and interference and halt this march towards the second gilded age our politics and press frets about what porn star Trump may have screwed.  We spend billions in agencies like the TSA that are clearly unconstitutional in everything they do.
We are a nation that has become obsessed with spectacle and crudeness.  We worship those that appear rude and ignorant.  People are led to believe success will come only if they can find a way to get their 15 minutes of fame.  We have a failing education system.
I could go on and on.  In the meantime China and Russia are moving on.  One day we will be just totally shocked when they overtake us and we have become nothing than a 3rd world has been.
Ultimately the downfall must lead to something new and better but its going to be a very ugly, painful and deadly slog until we get to that point.

Yep.  i've heard it said - think it may have been Sam Clemens - that "When you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to re-examine your position."
i agree with you that globalism - in the current way it seems to wish to manifest itself, via a total surveillance, anti-human system of oppression and tyranny, as in China - must be resisted to the last man, and it most certainly is NOT "inevitable."  i certainly reject the Borg "Resistance is futile - you must be assimilated" nonsense.  This would be a psyop, for if an enemy can be convinced that he's going to lose no matter what, the war is won without firing a shot.  Any student of Lao Tzu (The Art of War) will never be fooled by that ploy.
What i find most heartening is that Trump is fully aware of the dangers of globalism, and made his anti-globalist position EXTREMELY clear at the UN the other day.  i, for one, and quite glad that he's keeping his promises, esp. insofar as "Nationalism, not globalism, will be our credo!"
Funds, jobs, and manufacturing plants a-plenty are flooding back into America as a direct result of his policies, which IMO are simple common-sense, to (at a minimum) level the playing-field of trade and refuse to allow Americans, American companies, or Americans' technology to be abused any longer.

George - Can we restructure the American economic and financial system as Japan did in their "Lost Decade" of the nineties or as Mexico did before that? If there is a major drawback to being the global reserve system, the restructuring becomes almost impossible without a global war ... or global restructuring which has historically been prefaced by global war. A tragic but historic reality.
Faraday Cages are quite easy to build. CB radios and other communication devices can be kept in them. My first windmill was a 55 gallon drum, the rear end from a junk car and an alternator and harmonic balancer. People seem to believe that twelve volts will not work in a home but ever had someone drive by with their high beams on? Ever pull up next to a boom box car? The grid is in all honesty the least of my personal concerns, but the prospects for a societal collapse under following the loss of the grid would be a very real concern.
Dino - Despite the perversion of the word, historically at least, Anarchy merely means no rulers. Given the perversion of the word however, what if we change it to "Volunteerism"? No victim equals no crime ... I do not see any reason that communities could be set up, some as actual democracies and some as Anarchic or "Volunteeristic" in nature perhaps? I can certainly tell you which one would be more likely to thrive, though that would also depend on having a moral people to begin with.

Your examples of martial law neglected to include Boston after the Boston Marathon bombing where martial law was implemented in fact, but never declared.
And the violation of the 4th amendment that the Federal forfeiture laws represent are a travesty and must be opposed.

The twelve percent is from a NASA Scientist by the name of Pete Riley who has studied solar events and their histories for more than fifty years. His personal belief that within the next decade following the 2012 incident, that there is a twelve percent chance of a similar event. Dunno how he figures it, but ... it is NASA after all, not like they would ever fudge the numbers ... or would they?
No. I did not mention Boston by name but yes, you are correct ... and martial law was only ended after an "exchange of gunfire" with an unarmed suspect led to his detainment ... still wrapping my head around that wishing it were not true.
Boca Raton was at one time refused from pursuing or utilizing federal forfeiture laws, not because they were stealing more from the people than the criminals were, but because they were not giving enough of their ill-gotten gains to the feds. A sad state of affairs indeed. However, in accordance with SCOTUS, many laws do not need to be constitutional in order to be ruled as being constitutional.
Some examples:
The Lautenberg Act which denies due process
The NDAA which denies due process
The "Hundred Mile Constitution Free Zone" within our own borders
Federal Forfeiture Laws which deny due process ... and the list goes on.
Even A Broken Clock Added Oct 9, 2018 - 9:57am
Thanks, Ward. A 12% chance over the course of a decade makes sense, but not a 12% chance each day. That's what I was puzzling over.
As to the SCOTUS, I don't view Kavanaugh as having the temperament to take on the unconstitutional acts you cite.

TBH - Far as the government is concerned, I suppose they figure me as good as dead anyhow. I should be content with our "mutual agreement" where I leave them alone and they leave me alone, but it is ... challenging when one does not exist ... to say the least. Still, better than some alternatives. Just because the government considers you a criminal does not mean that you have committed a crime.
American beer has most often been like two people making love in a canoe ... fooking close to water ... I do enjoy Guinness when I can get the real stuff, but the only place I ever found that was in the Northern Irish communities up around Saratoga Springs ... a bit far north for my taste. There was a fellow back home however, who made right nice grape wine about 180 proof. Chicken Bill with his rotgut would trade us for trash fish he would pressure cook and put into fish cakes. It is also perfectly legal to own a still these days.

Well, Ward,
There's also the scenario of the government's collapsing from incompetence.  Best to have your stand-alone energy-generation systems up and running by then, as well as your gardens and septic tanks.  Best not to live in a city, and as Burghal says, have everything you need within reach.
I'd love to live off the grid and to be self-sufficient, or to live in a small cooperative community, but I may have to live to 100 to get there.  Nice to know other survivalists are planning to stick around, too.

Katharine, you are always welcome here ... I think my mother would love you if I can persuade her to visit as well. However, I am working on other projects which, if I am successful in implementing, would offer you a much more comfortable and paid position. I figure on living to be a hundred or at least I am gonna die trying to get there. My great gramma was 104 last time I saw her, stoagie in one hand and chaw and a spitting contest at the same time. She made it to 108. My Ma is mid seventies and not slowing down yet. Still doing the occasional marathon. I should even have electrical and internet in a couple of weeks I think ... and building up the rest. Current efforts in Oceania and Central America may also become viable in the very near future. We will see what we will see I suppose.
Eric - We have been under the War Powers Act in a constant state of Emergency since Lincoln. This is also how the Southern Representatives were legally but not lawfully kicked out of their rightfully elected positions after the War Between the States and replaced with shills for the Federalist System. Not exactly martial law, but it does boil down the same. That is how such egregious. abusive and oppressive laws are made as well as fiat legislation through regulatory agencies.
I think there would have to be numerous factors leading to the extinction of the neanderthal if in fact he is extinct. It seems a great many of our brethren among modern men share far too much in common with the neanderthal for it to be merely coincidental ... mentally if nothing else. (See the constant rambling of Michka who believes jumping up and down on his bed while throwing a fit and wagging his finger is equivalent to a rapier wit cutting like a hot knife through the buttery non-believers of his pseudo-religious faiths. He is apparently also unable to discern between a "possible scenario" and reality ... which is noteworthy as well.)
TBH - Aye. I am half Scottish, half German, half Texan and half Hillbilly ... which boils down to a rather eclectic mix. Though we all are descendants of two English brothers Shed and Shad from the six hundreds or the seventh century ... one of whom went to Ireland and the other who went to Scotland where they morphed into the Dinwoodies or Hangmen. (Not only royalty was recorded in the record books) My mother claims the Irish half. That being said, it was not the Northern Irish that bugged me ... I had a great time in their locations ... dancing, losing teeth, playing darts ... had an amazing game of darts my first time there ... and never repeated it since LOL (Beat a ranked player from Northern Ireland as a matter of fact, and lost two or three teeth in the process and had a really great time and got into the good Guinness and not the exported dregs)
The thing that bothered me was mostly that whole New York thing ... (Old) York was once sacked by the Scots, but the reason they left was not an act of kindness, they just couldn't find anything worth sacking, much less keeping. I have pretty much found New York to be the same.

Excellent post from a political perspective and from a truth vs. propaganda perspective.  As for the threat of CME/EMP to the power grid, it is very real, but in my opinion only a small part of the problem we are likely to see in the near future.  I believe the government is quite aware of the imminent, natural, cosmic event that is likely to kill most of us and reduce most of the rest to the stone age in short order.  They made the (right) decision to prepare in secret and not tell the rest of us what is coming.  I try in my books, so do some other authors, but few care to listen.  I suggest people prepare themselves spiritually and physically for huge problems in the near future, or if they can't handle that - just keep their head in the sand...

One of the great benefits of living deep in the provinces as I do, is that the truly localized economy, is largely one of barter and trade. Many people live without power as a routine, most of us have farms or other means of food production and would be largely unaffected. In fact, during the last ChaCha ... Charter Change here where there was a major change in the Government, it had devastating impacts on the inner cities but we scarcely even noted it happened here. About the only thing that changed eventually was the currency we use in our transactions.

“The use of targets being distributed to law enforcement agencies utilizing pregnant women, children and even elderly people in wheelchairs on their firing range targets is a clear means to desensitize the cops and military personnel to the act of shooting”
WRONG.  Those targets are so that police don’t shoot innocent bystanders.  You see, rather than enter a situation with guns blazing, it’s helpful for cops to be cognizant of the harm they’re capable of doing.
As for martial law being declared, I believe you have nothing to worry about.  It’s been many years since the last riot and compared to riots of the past, the most recent rioting is relatively harmless.  That being said, if rioting occurred in “all of the major cities” and mayors encouraged the police to stand down, the Federal Government would have no choice but to pacify the situation, perhaps through Martial Law.  Should all of this happen, I have no idea why that would equate to rationing, but I have some good news to report.  The hypothetical you just described is really far-fetched, but sounds like the making of a great new blockbuster.

You may have missed the whole story from a few years back about how DHS had acquired over 1.6 BILLION rounds of illegal (by Geneva Convention treaty) hollow-point bullets, too.
Any gov't which has no problem interning Americans of Japanese descent won't have a problem rounding up whomever they're told to, as well; had The Liar taken office, with her anti-2nd Amendment stand and promises to "do something about gun control," i'd venture to say that the witch(literally) would have implemented the globalist plan by now.
Ever hear of the Strong Cities Initiative?  That was a UN-directed plan to basically implement tyranny.
Anyone who trusts anyone in the USG without triple-checking their info is not only a fool, but a damned fool - maybe literally.

Anyone not rejecting all this nonsense  prepped by Ward, are the insane ones.  Ol Domesday book doesn't get it.  I realized you, Domesday and folks like Ward and you want to keep a twisted view of me as a "matter of faith."  Fine, there's nothing I could say or write that would change your view.  I accept that.  You people all worried about the UN taking over America.  If they boot Trump and company into the middle of the North Atlantic, they're welcome to America, even the keys to the front door.  I look forward to the government taking land from you rightists to build hundreds of migrant camps to take in all the world's refugees, since you rightist want more wars to keep manufacturing refugees. Imagine, rightists, government agents booting you and yours into the drainage ditch in front of your house, while a family of Muslim refugees from Somalia take over your house and possessions.  LOL

I call bullshit.  You can prove me wrong by sharing a link of police shooting at targets depicting elderly people in wheel chairs wielding weapons guns.
Ken Added Oct 11, 2018 - 5:42pm
Those targets are so that police don’t shoot innocent bystanders.
Reminds me of that great scene in Men in Black where the primary target was the girl carrying all the physics texts

A simple one to start, just the images ... from a cancer site promoting health.
Infowars is not an ideal site to reference, but it is linked at least
Mind you, this is largely scrubbed by Google, though I am hardly shocked
More targets made by "Law Enforcement Targets Inc." Gee. I wonder who their clients are?
The training is apparently in order to assist the police and other law enforcement agencies ... and apparently even many agencies that do not even need their own military forces but have them anyhow ... to recognize and "engage" "non-traditional" threats.
But at least it is all military and police right? Not like we are arming the DepEd or other non-police agencies ... oops.
Unrelated directly but interesting
More interesting reading about the military build up of the government
But at least it is not like Martial law has ever been implemented without so much as a Declaration ala Boston Marathon. Um.
And it is not like we have ever gone after our own citizens like David Koresh an FFL Holder meaning severe background checks and who also went into town twice a week unaccompanied and who could have been taken peacefully at any time.
And it is not like we are foregoing the constitutional process and due rights ala Forfeiture Laws, the NDAA or other programs.
If you are looking for actual footage from the firing ranges, having been out of any kind of service for many years now and having been out of the States for more than two decades, you may have to find another source. However, I personally do not have any cause to doubt the overreach of those who would seek out power to rule over us rather than to work and to serve as true servants of the people. Mind you, and again, that is not to say that there are not good cops and even good agents, but they seem to be seen increasingly as a minority and not the majority of the law enforcement types.

"Ward and you want to keep a twisted view of me as a "matter of faith."
Nope, I largely ignore you when you engage in rants ala the Statist Ryan side of you. We have had some pretty good conversations regarding music. I also ignore all of the pointless rants on my articles (and other articles) as evidenced by my lack of engagement with many of the more radical members of both sides here.
However, when you make an honest attempt at social intercourse, I would be happy to engage in conversation and discussion with you. Given your normal screeds, this does seem to be one of those rare occasions in which you are, in your own special way, making a concerted effort to be civil, so I shall happily respond in kind.
My first question would be "Do you trust the government" ... and with the rare exception of the simplest of minds, that question is far too complex and difficult to answer in such a confined space ... there is no simple yes or no with any organization as large and complex as the government ... though in my particular case, I would lean far more towards the NO side than the YES. I also have my reasons for feeling that way, some of which I have discussed herein. The FBI finding mentally challenged lackeys and pushing them into "terrorist acts" that the FBI then "thwarts" does not do anything to assuage my concerns. Martial law in Boston, Waco, Ruby Ridge, the ignored third person in the McVeigh case, 72 rounds into the wrong vehicle wounding two elderly ladies by cops and no criminal liability, shot sixteen times while sleeping during a warrantless search by a CO who was on site illegally and a cop and no criminal liability, treatment of law-abiding citizens after Katrina ala a seventy or eighty year old lady being gang tackled by Guardsmen? ... and the list goes on.
Where does this perception that Trump is some kind of friend to the Conservative come from? You can have Trump or Hillary for all I care. The lesser of evils is still evil and none of them will work to grant you any one of your freedoms back willingly. All of them will seek to take what you have ... the government does after all, have what it takes, to take what you have. The two faces of the uniparty system do not impress me from either profile.
If taking the land is the "right thing to do" and the "proper response" to someone who is criminal, then why is there any need for a government to instigate violence through the introduction of force? Why would society not band together to get rid of that which is evil in their midst? Though again, since they are not likely to head to the Philippines and take land from Filipinos yet at least, I figure I am safe for a while.
Virtually every war of the twentieth century was implemented by Democrats ... though I have no doubts that both sides were complicit in all cases. There is ample evidence that we knew about Pearl Harbor at least three months before the attack, and still we gave up the heart of our fleet. Operation Northwood? Gulf of Tonkin?
As for the American implementation of social instability around the globe, you will get no argument from me ... but who was it that armed ISIS as the "moderate Muslims" and implemented the "Arab Spring"? If I am not mistaken, that was in fact another democrat. I believe the Republican party gave us Al QAEDA however, so I believe that kind of reinforces my point that the two faces of the uniparty system are not out to help any of us. (QAEDA actually is a derivative of the names of the original five leaders selected by the American government to lead the insurrection) The government is not our friend and is not here to help us.

I clicked on your first link and as expected, all it proves is that you’re guilty of disseminating fake news.  In other words, you’ve been duped.  DHS nor any other law enforcement agency, bought those targets.  They were made by a company that sells other targets, DHS is one of their biggest customers.  The name of that company is Law Enforcement Targets, Inc. The company is a private corporation and is not affiliated with any law enforcement agency. When it was learned they had made such an offensive product the company discontinued them and issued a public apology.  So unless you have a legitimate link that proves law enforcement are being trained to shoot at gun wielding pregnant women, you owe me an apology.
Ward Tipton Added Oct 12, 2018 - 10:21am
I owe you nothing. I am quite sure in your world the government and dear leaders our nothing short of benevolent and kind. However, the fact remains that the government has committed far too many egregious abuses against the citizenry to be trusted. I noted who the company was in my previous posts, and David Koresh was never shot when he opened his front door ... and martial law was never enacted in Boston without so much as a declaration until the "exchange of gunfire" with an "unarmed suspect" brought it to an end.
Government gooooooooooooooooood.
Liberty loving people baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.

In case you missed it the first time:
Anyone who trusts anyone in the USG without triple-checking their info is not only a fool, but a damned fool - maybe literally.
In the age of Trump, i believe that there is far less to fear; had The Liar been able to steal the election(which was the plan), you may well have been rounded up - or killed - already, to comport with the UN world depop plan.
Me, i would likely have gone long before you; it came to my attention over ten years ago that anyone who often cites the F&F gets put on a gov't watch list.  They don't generally like to be reminded that they are public SERVANTS, not masters; they prefer that you simply "obey authority," without thinking, much less objecting - especially if you want to object to tyranny both violently AND effectively.
Ever hear of the Oathkeepers?  Glad they're on my side.  i happen to know for a fact that many of them are current or retired police and military; their motto is "Not on OUR watch!"  Quite a bit of the info about the billions of rounds of ammo, the non-police fed agencies arming up, the purchase of over 2,700 armored vehicles, and so on, came directly from those people, as well as the military contingency plan which exposed the roundup, internment, and murder of many Americans...hence the targets.
FacePalm Added Oct 12, 2018 - 11:37am
And an FYI:
Recognizing that we each swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and affirming that we are guardians of the Republic, of the principles in our Declaration of Independence, and of the rights of our people, we affirm and declare the following:

1. We will NOT obey orders to disarm the American people.
2. We will NOT obey orders to conduct warrantless searches of the American people
3. We will NOT obey orders to detain American citizens as "unlawful enemy combatants" or to subject them to military tribunal.
4. We will NOT obey orders to impose martial law or a “state of emergency” on a state.
5. We will NOT obey orders to invade and subjugate any state that asserts its sovereignty.
6. We will NOT obey any order to blockade American cities, thus turning them into giant concentration camps.
7. We will NOT obey any order to force American citizens into any form of detention camps under any pretext.
8. We will NOT obey orders to assist or support the use of any foreign troops on U.S. soil against the American people to "keep the peace" or to "maintain control."
9. We will NOT obey any orders to confiscate the property of the American people, including food and other essential supplies.
10.We will NOT obey any orders which infringe on the right of the people to free speech, to peaceably assemble, and to petition their government for a redress of grievances.
-- Oath Keepers
Oath Keepers is a non partisan association of currently serving military, peace officers, fire-fighters, and veterans who will fulfill our oath to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, so help us God.
Now, the hard part: why, do you think, did so many good men and women decide it was necessary to form such an organization and publicly declare their intention to not obey orders of that nature?
This is not a multiple choice, but an essay question.

Here is how I see it:
(Firstly, we have been under the war powers act since '33 and cops do not know the law, neither do attorneys and judges like it that way. Just think about the income tax, and if you don't know why that is unlawful, ask yourself how much you know about the law)
First people will universally accept electronic money, fear of the purse thief or pocket picker will have most people accept the electronic money, stores will stop accepting cash in return for a government payout to keep their heads above water or avoid a possible audit, or repeated audits from the Fed.
If you have ever once stood in a grocery store lineup you can see the fallacy of electronic money being quick or convenient. I'm essentially waiting in line for morons where I shop.
Many will hold onto cash and continue using it as long as they can but eventually cash will be worthless because you won't be able to spend it anywhere. I can't pay my cell phone bill with cash unless I go to a bank.
The government then shuts off the accounts of the undesireables or those who have managed to hold onto an ability to actually think. If the government thinks you have a gun, they will shut you off.
At this point, the thinkers will have a choice, (1) go to wilderness where they will be picked off by wilderness cops for target practice or (2) Go and turn themselves in and be decapitated at the courthouse. Once or twice a week a giant truck will leave the courts, no one will ask why the courts need a big truck to come and go once a week will be deemed conspiracy theorists and shut off from commerce.
Many people will be armed and ready for a home invasion by police, but in reality they will end up going to the police under their own steam.
I would never underestimate the average cop or soldier to follow orders. They are delusional now, imagine five/ten years from now? Pay them enough and they will go along with anything. Why do cops get trained in Israel ? Because N. America will be the next Palestine. Since when do cops give a shit about the law, or know anything about it?
Why do they need oath keepers when they have a constitution? Don't they pledge allegiance to that constitution? Maybe its just cool to join oath keepers, that's why most do it.
As far as SHTF scenarios such as "nukes" or a giant sunspot, I have a good bike, the ability to carry stuff on it, magnifying glasses and fish hooks for currency.
I have no reason to believe nukes are real other than the fact that fear of them has been created by the media. I wonder about these sunspots.

We have not had a lawful government since the Southern representatives walked out in 1861 ... Congress has been seated only by presidential commission ever since ... but you are correct about the war powers act, however that was more about economics and finance.
Income tax is unlawful under Section 83 of the IRC.
Coronal Mass ejections have occurred on a sufficient number of occasions to merit concern. However, that is not to say that this would be the scenario that they are pursuing.
The Bonus Army, Katrina ... I mentioned a few of these I think, but there are other cases ... numerous in fact, where cops and military have willfully turned on the American people ... and we should not readily dismiss the recent purges in the upper echelons either.
Kristen Foley, I was waiting for a response but suspect it is not forthcoming, however "When it was learned they had made such an offensive product the company discontinued them and issued a public apology." - By your standards, should I not ignore all the additional evidence and dismiss everything else you say because you did not offer proof? Where is your proof that no law enforcement agents used this? Because they said so? While I understand the desire to have faith in one's government, unfortunately I have long ago abandoned any such faith or trust.

PS Doug, I do not doubt that they are making numerous dry runs on numerous scenarios to better learn what they can accomplish with the least amount of effort/loss on their part. Just my opinion but ... I see no reason to doubt it.
