Listen people...

WB seems to go down the drain, and, frankly, I have made MANY friends here in the - almost - 5 years I have been here. So, without being indiscreet - I would like all users here to exchange a possibility to keep contact, be it on another site, an email, or whatever.

I think some of us have become real virtual friends, so to say. We haven't seen each other, but by our articles and comments we have gotten to know each other, and I'm sure we'd have a hell of a party seeing each other live.

Since that's not possible, at least keep contact - if you like - and don't let these years go wasted.

They don't deserve it.

Peace and love

Post your connection, if you're not afraid of spam or the NSA LOL

You see what I mean ? You have made it possible for me to not only improve my English but also make many friends, some even visited me, and I thank you for that. WB has enriched my life in some ways. I could bash Americans LOL, and I could also appreciate Americans. I've seen so many "facettes" of American life TODAY that helped me to get an image.
Some people here have entered my heart. There are too many to name, but you've made a fantastic job to get people together and - we had and have - good debates here. Even though the subjects repeat....
...but anyway: Thanks again - and don't let that community fall apart without notice.

Don't worry Stone, I'll harass you whenever and wherever I can find you, lol. Seriously dude, the world's a small space, and getting smaller all the time. You're entirely too amusing and interesting a character for me to let go! That goes for others here, too.

@ Stone - Yeah, depression is a funny thing. Sometimes you have to fight it to the death, and other times you have to curl up and let it go by while it tears something up, much like a tornado. Hope you're feeling better...pussy usually does, when it isn't the primary cause of the aforementioned depression, lol.

+++ Update +++
Several people have already contacted me, thanks for that ! In case we can't keep WB alive and Autumn decides to pull the plug, at least some of us can stay in contact and try to set up something new. I would really regret when WB shuts down, but I would also regret to lose contact to many of you. Maybe our will to keep on can give Autumn the courage to carry on as well - as independently as possible.
I mean each of us has 20 bucks he can spare, no ? So - 20 users = 400 for a start.

I dropped LI about 3 years ago.
Being retired, it became more of a privacy invasion and spam generator than a career tool. FB is the ultimate example of privacy invasion versus necessity.
Stone-Eater Added Mar 12, 2019 - 5:10pm
You're right, but....I gave up FB about 8 months ago...a lot of my Africans are there and I tried to redirect them to WhatsApp. LI...I've got 1200 something connections there and also for our import-export biz it's convenient to keep contact with people from all over...
Bill H. Added Mar 12, 2019 - 5:51pm
LI was certainly great for career moves and business contacts for sure!
I had a lot of business contacts within the company I worked for all over the US. When the company started "reorganizing" and offshoring/contracting, many people were eliminated. On top of that, when they realized they had trimmed back way to many staff, they began to replace them with the latest crop of "MBA's", who had no clue about how the machine worked.
So I made a smart move and did an early retirement.
Life is great!

Do you think any might be amenable to calls for charitable assistance?
If so:
When i first got online, Y2K, as it happens - i'd sometimes receive invites to FB.  At the time - and for about 8, 9 years - i could only afford dialup, and sometimes ONE FB PAGE would take over 5 hours to load.
i lost interest after maybe 2 days of trying.
Good thing, too; the Snowden revelations made it clear that FB was being used as a "data collection point" for not only the intel agencies, but every corporate marketer on the planet, basically, so they could build such great psych profiles on you that giants like Amazon would know what you're about to order before you order it...and have it boxed up and waiting.
But Zuckerberg is such a creep; one of his twitter posts about the FB users read "They 'trust me,' the stupid fucks."  (ok, could've been "dumb fucks.")
And the latest i heard is that the lovely old nazi collaborator, Soros, has bought up a large share of FB, and is currently engaging in a pump'n'dump action.  But all the corporate board members will get their golden parachutes when it goes under for the last time, so who cares?  Oh, yeah, the thousands of leftists who'll lose their jobs....

Don't know about charity on Godfundme...I've tried to raise money there once in order to be able to buy a taxi to better secure my Cameroon family's life. I got 50 Euro in all....
On your comment.....Agree fully. Soros, Zuckerberg, Buffett, Bolton, Macron, Merkel, Guaido etc., all those creeps are in the same gang, wherever they come from. Maybe about a thousand people steer the direction of that planet.

Yeah, i'm listening to Paul Joseph Watson right now, and he's excoriating Teresa May as a globalist, too - a betrayer of Brexit and the alleged "British Democracy," yet another example of precisely why the Founders in America utterly rejected democracy.
But the thing is, the names you named are but the public faces; the REAL pullers-of-strings are behind the scenes, making their puppets dance IAW "he who pays the piper calls the tune.".
They stay in the dark, profiting handsomely from their death cults - that is, starting and keeping various wars going, so they can supply both sides with everything from jets and helicopters to band-aids and bullets - not necessarily just lead, but uranium, too.
If you want to know who's really ordering their bought politicos around, "follow the money."  Look up just who are the corporate entities supplying both "sides."
i ran a GFM page myself, but Autumn nixed any appeals here - so i thought i'd ask on behalf of Ward's nephew.
Ultimately, the success or failure of any GFM project is directly related to how many eyes can see it.  You probably recall the one about the "homeless man" who gave his "last 20 bux" to a woman who ran out of gas in a bad part of town.
Turns out it was all a scam...the woman, her bf, and the "homeless guy" had cooked up the scheme at some gambling joint, then got publicity and massive eyes saw their plight, which resulted in something like 700k bux being donated.  The plot broke down when the conspirators got greedy and began finking on each other.
i'll email you with some tips, if you like, assuming your GFM is still active, ok?  Let me know.
Stone-Eater Added Mar 13, 2019 - 1:06pm

To widen this community and make some back-up for links to the articles posted here you can easily create a subreddit right for WB articles` links and become its moderator. Reddit gives huge flow of visitors so it will promote WB greately and quickly. I`ve already posted in Brexit subreddit link to my article here and noticed growth from 383 to 403 visitors during several hours in spite of the fact my link went deep down in that sub.
Stone-Eater Added Mar 16, 2019 - 12:30pm

Webmaster Added Mar 16, 2019 - 12:47pm
SE, it is ve-eeeee-ery easy, just go to Reddit site which has probably many millions of visitors a day. Make there a subreddit which is a place to post links and texts and become its moderator. It will take you 2 minutes. Give this subreddit a name for example "Writerbeat site posters and commenters" and make yourself its moderator. Later you can invite there other moderators too as the number of links and comments made in your sub may be too large for 1 moderator. All the technical questions you can quickly solve there looking for some instructions in Help menu.
I am sure that this evening or even right now you can do it, then give all WB members a link to your subreddit, and start moderating there links and comments. I wanted to do it myself while WB did not function but I am just 3-5 months here and you are a true WB veteran so don`t be afraid of Reddit and good luck to you in sub moderation. BTW Reddit seems to be US managed site that is why I see a lot in common between WB and Reddit, lol.

From what i've been reading, Reddit has been banning conservatives quite a lot lately, often without notice or explanation.
i'm willing to try it, though.
If i and others who have conservative leanings get banned, what recourse does anyone have on their platform?
On FB, the monitors look for any poster who is pro-life, pro-gun, pro-America, pro-God, or anything similar(even posting the US flag!), then begins by shadow-banning you don't know that your posts are basically in an empty cave with no one listening.  Every now and then, they'll sic "bots" on you, or if you're perceived as a REAL threat, then they'll gang up on you and/or go after your sponsors/advertisers.  They've succeeded very well at these practices, and no one with enough power to do anything tangible about it has spoken up yet - there are several Congressmen and Senators who have, but they don't comprise the majority, yet.
When the President spoke to Breitbart recently and was asked specifically about this, Trump apparently said to "be nice," and hope they leave you alone, i guess - if this is truly how he feels and not some strategy, he's an idiot.  It was the alt-news people who got him elected, certainly not MSM.  If he doesn't take a STRONG stand to defend the First Amendment, he'll be out of a job in 2020 - and if he signs any national "red flag" legislation into effect, he's dead to those who elected him.
(if you're unaware, the "red flag" legislation, already enforced in some states, says that if ANYone reports you as having firearms and a "potential danger," then a secret court will issue a secret warrant, and police will show up at your door to take your firearms - no due process, no chance to present evidence on your behalf.  Already, in Maryland, a woman who lost an argument with her brother made exactly such a complaint, and when the police showed up at his door - something like 5:30AM - the police shot him to death.  He'd committed NO CRIME at all!  But he's deader'n'a hammer, now.)
So, yeah, if Trump signs a national law to this effect, America is done.  There won't need to be a military-style door-to-door gun confiscation sweep, as in Venezuela - it'll be done piecemeal, one household at a time, by ratfinks eager to destroy the lives of their neighbors.
And Trump will be replaced by a leftist idiot who'll complete the destruction of America long-planned-for, the final barrier, the last obstacle to establishing world tyranny.
Webmaster Added Mar 17, 2019 - 3:46am
Stone-Eater, I have just created this community and was appointed its moderator. Everyone can start posting and commenting there.
The sub can have many moderators so if you or someone wants to be ones then I will try to give you that status.
FacePalm, thanks for the useful information which I will carefully think about, now just try posting links to your WB articles in your new Reddit community r/writer_beat_reloaded.
Webmaster Added Mar 17, 2019 - 4:29am
FacePalm, thank you once again for telling about the facts which are not covered in the media, it`s really terrible that such tricks are used, but in any way it was Trump who won the election so he is a POTUS and the wave of resistance from the opposition camp is a common occurrence. I read that Trump's supporters together went to vote for him, and the Clinton supporters were so sure of her victory that they stayed at home, as a result Trump won. Now his opponents can say anything, as freedom of speech allows it, but if they violate the principles of democracy and equality, then they should change the name of their party from the Democrats to the tyrants, in order to really reflect its essence and the principles.

Just a little summary from my forays into other internet forums over the past year. Maybe you guys will find some useful from my experience.
LINKEDIN: I couldn't get much traction for any articles I posted, despite having 100+ contacts. My friends, family, and colleagues think I'm crazy trying to promote the TDG, and LI just might be an extension of that mindset.
FACEBOOK: I think the FB algorithms deemed I was not interesting enough to post my stuff on other peoples' walls. When  I didn't get a notice of a family reunion last summer (my cousin assumed that because I am on FB, I would get the message), I dropped my regular usage of FB; not much point in spending time when I can't get important messages. I still keep the account as it is the only contact method for more than a few family and friends. But to spend more serious time there . . . . .
TWITTER: I couldn't attract any followers, so there was no point in spending lots of time here.I don't see much need in following people with their 140 characters tweets. In my opinion, Twitter is a good sign that the world is going to hell. It is silly to think we can solve problems with 140 characters.
ELLO: This is a FB clone, but marketing to artistic types to show off their talents to each other. I put together my TDG comic book for this site and "played" it a couple of times. Not much interest, but there were a few sex kittens wanting conversations with me.
REDDIT: Lots of talkers, few listeners. If there is to be a WBrevisited group on Reddit, the founder/moderator had better bring their own people to the group to find good discussion. Nothing organic that I can see on Reddit.
DEMOCRATICHUB: This is an echo chamber for lefties. Discussion is civil and thoughtful, writing is good. However, this group is pretty convinced that America could solve all its problems by following the US Constitution, which was corrupted by the political right. Not much interest in alternative systems of government.
DEBATEPOLITICS: There is a lot of lefties and righties pecking at each other. But there is some nice discussion there as well. I learned a few new things about the world. But this is a busy site, hard to build relationships to build credibility to convince other contributors of taking my ideas seriously. This site is funded by donors and seems to need about $300 a month to pay the bills. Volunteer moderators do step in to shut down bellicose threads and eventually ban users, but this seems to be infrequent.
MEWE: Another FB clone, this one purporting no advertising (easy to verify) or data mining (hard to verify). I'm not sure how this social media pays its bills. MEWE claims no direct censorship, but moderators of the various groups can censor their own group. The groups are easy to set up. If you want to set up "one-legged gay gun owners to fight islam and vote against Trump," go for it. There's a space for you on MEWE.
GOOGLE+: More talkers than listeners, but not as bad as Reddit. I had a few interesting discussions here, but nothing too enlightening. Google will be shutting down this forum soon. I think Google had realized the minute it put up Googled ads, users will leave en masse. In other words, there is no way for Google to turn this social media into a cash generator.
WRITERBEAT is still the best. But with no tangible results after 18 months, I need to market my ideas elsewhere.
I hope this helps in your next social media moves.
Thomas Sutrina Added Mar 18, 2019 - 6:15pm

Dave Volek, posting in social media increases site`s indication in search engines. You may not get traffic from social media but Google will see your site better. To increase traffic, optimization is needed too. It means you have to fill in all <title>, <description>, <alt> tags on your pages. You should also insert structured data (Microdata, JSON-LD according to And the best way is regularly add articles which attract readers. SEO managers tell that content is a king. Surely you also should insert in your site buttons to share artciles in social media.

Send me a link on LI. I've got almost 1'300 contacts and even more followers around the world. Would be a pleasure to promote TDG. I mean, can't promise anything, but why not try ?
Dave Volek Added Mar 19, 2019 - 3:43pm
Thanks for the feedback. I had my first internet-based business back in 1996. I have done meta-tags optimization, adjusted content, experimented with different landing pages, and changed website layouts several times based on comments from "experts." My problem is that I'm doing things so much differently than the mainstream that people really are not looking for these innovations in the first place. If I were mainstream and directly competing with other businesses, I probably would find my share of the customers from my website. But when one is too far out-of-the-box, one tends to get ignored.
For example, my flagship invention is about a new system of democratic governance without political parties. Despite the distrust, cynicism, and apathy coming from the population, the population really doesn't want to hear of a new way. My 18 months on Writerbeat is a good testament to this collective mindset. I maybe got six people to read half the book on my website; and only two book sales. None of these readers furthered the cause. Spending an hour or two a day for that kind of result is not a good investment.
I just re-read my last post, with all the social media sites I have been involved with. I would say that there are at least 1000 links scattered in many places to lead to my TDG. The search engines are not finding these links relevant. I suspect that if no one is clicking on them, they are not relevant.
These days, I'm spending some money on Google ads, targeting South Carolina. Hopefully seeing the TDG graphics more than a few times will cause some South Carolinians to become a little curious.
And I'm going to do some direct mail advertising to some focus groups, such as political science professors. I'll just keep trying different things until something connects. But more social media marketing is not in the forecast.
I shall send you link the next time I'm at my home computer.
Ultimately, it will be word-of-mouth that moves the TDG forward, not anything I can say or do. Your help will be appreciated.
I live in a rural area in SE Alberta. There are political forces gathering to amalgamate the five rural municipalities into one institution of governance. I will testing the waters to see if the movers and shakers are interested in a two-tier system, which I think will serve the region well. But two-tiers might be stretching the limits of imagination.
Webmaster Added Mar 20, 2019 - 10:44am
Dave Volek, probably you should try offline promotion activities. Internet is not the only one way for public relations so some writers visit different countries and make meetings with readers in the libraries. I have seen one in YouTube and the library was full of people so many even had to stand because of lack of chairs. Personal meetings with readers in big cities who are interested in politics and sociology can give better results.
You can also try to import your articles from you site to Medium site. Its system will post the link to the article at your site so some readers will be able to follow it or post comment right on Medium.
Dave Volek Added Mar 20, 2019 - 11:26am
The advantage of the internet is that it is cheap. For $50 a month, I can put up 40,000 internet impressions in South Carolina. I just can't get that kind of coverage with traditional, offline advertising.
In the fall of 2017, I did hire a professional marketing firm to market the TDG on Facebook. They did a fantastic job of creating memes and placing them in front of politically inclined Americans. But no tangible result after $1200.
As for attending conferences et al, there is a cost to that. When I attended a business English conference to promote my business English program, my travel expenses were about $2500. I would probably need to attend four such conferences to be taken seriously, which means a lot of sales just to cover this marketing cost. Unfortunately, my BE program really wasn't designed for mass sales, so the business matrix isn't there to create the equation REVENUE > MARKETING.
From what I have read about marketing, I probably need a budget of at least $100,000 (online, offline, or both) to get some consideration. I just don't have that money.
I took a look at MEDIUM. Looks interesting. I shall post a few articles and see what happens. Not expecting much, but a worthy experiment for a couple hours of effort.

Stone: My strategy here is to completely ignore and avoid/never even visit the articles and posts of certain (most egregious) characters.
It's working for me.
Other than keeping in contact with interesting, intelligent, good folks like you who have a different frame of reference on things and occasionally posting some PR promoting essential changes we need to make, I don't hold any expectations for my participation at WB producing any "results".

Dave Volek, you are right, if ROI seems to be poor or absent at all, the business idea should be canceled. If one does not immediately refuses to follow the path of monetary losses, then he can certainly go bankrupt.
BTW you can also improve the visibility of your articles here if you post links to them at our sub.

I wouldn't say "cancel" is an appropriate word. I will continue to promote the TDG until I die. But I won't be bringing my family to the steps of bankruptcy for this cause.
It seems I have proven spending time on internet forums do not work, so it's time to stop that activity. The former political junkie inside of me did enjoy the discussion here and a few other places.  And it sure wants to comment on a few of today's WB articles, but I can't get sucked in.
I should say that I have learned a few new things in my internet musings. But the time expended to get that knowledge---the better investment to gain knowledge is to read good books.
"Results"!!!!!   I have to wonder why we bother on internet forums at all when our ability to influence people into a different way of thinking is so minimal. There must be another reason we are so committed to our forums.
BTW, how is Democratic Hub doing?
